Draft. Chocolate barley malt aroma. Dark chestnut with small head. Sweet chocolate malt with a hint of cherry. Light alcohol finish. Excellent - full-bodied and easy to drink. Dr_MedievAle (215) - Alabama, USA - NOV 18, 2013
On draft at Eccentric Cafe circa first week of May, 2013. This beer smelled and tasted just like fresh chocolate melted over the stove. Sweet chocolate balanced by some dry nuttiness. A texture like melted butter. Cleaned up on the palate beautifully, leaving no harsh aftertaste. Virtually no hint of alcohol in this beer. Outstanding. Pours dark brown with reddish hues, fine head. Good looking beer. Aroma is dark malt with some roastiness, hints of dark chocolate, as it warms I get some alcohol. Big mouthfeel, large beer here. Malty sweetness, dark malt, hint cocoa/coffee flavor. Lingering malty sweetness. lampeno420 (320) - Zeeland, Michigan, USA - MAR 2, 2008

On tap at Eccentric Café. Clear ruby brown with a small layer of tan foam resting on top. Aroma is dark and fruity with dates, figs, raisons, malt and a hint of booze. Taste is up front dark fruit with raisons, dates, toffee and light tannins. Sweet throughout. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - APR 12, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists moderate-heavy milk chocolate, light roast, and espresso. It’s a dark brown with some orange highlights and a small tan head. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy milk chocolate. There is some light plum/grape in the background. The finish has light roast, coffee, and some alcohol. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall, a solid Baltic Porter with a strong chocolate presence. MikeF (538) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 8, 2008
Black. Rich tan head. Rich malt flavors dominate. The palate is smooth, but slightly too highly carbonated for a porter. Overall a great beer however. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - APR 20, 2008
On tap at Eccentric. Huge roasty aroma, not as coffeeish as most, some touches of chocolate. Taste was a big splash of roasted malt with subtle chcolate notes, not as big bodied as most Baltic Poters, also lacking complexity ,It was nice enough ,but more an Imperial Porter then a Baltic awiseman01 (469) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - FEB 6, 2010
Tap at Eccentric Cafe. (Listed as "Light Bodied Porter", 8.4%) Pours deep brown with dirty red transparency and negligible head. Nose is dark roasted malt and slight coffee. Taste is bitter, dry, roasty, nutty, and burnt chocolate. Very nice, crisp, refreshing and packed with flavor. Almost some cinnamon and spices coming through as well. Nice offering.
