Tap. Poured black color with a moderate creamy light brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy toasted sweet malt with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted dark chocolate malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

Draft - Roast malts, coffee and some sweet booze. Jet black with a nice brown head. Dark malts and avert nice balancing sweetness that masks booze and bitterness. Subtle and pleasant.

Keg at Sedona Taphouse, 3/29/16. Near black, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of dark roasted malts, tobacco, mild maple. The taste is dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, mild maple, hints of cherry. Thin-medium bodied, lingering roastiness.

phaleslu (9779) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a flight. Pours a deep opaque brown with some amber highlights at the edges and a small khaki head that laces the glass while settling into a ring and a very thin island of film. Notes of dark chocolate, earth, tobacco, pine, and some light maple and honey sweetness. But those are subtle. Medium-full bodied, with a really smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. It’s big and balanced...and kind of dull, honestly. Nothing wrong with it, but it doesn’t pop like I’d hoped.

Draft to taster at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, dark chocolate, some earthy bitterness, the maple and honey are subtle and do add some sweetness, but this presents as another roasty imperial stout, medium body, decent.

Pour on tap, dark brownish black pour with white head, aroma brought notes of dark cocoa, roast, some slight sweet sugary notes into a bit of spice, some slight honey. Taste was a mix of sugar, cocoa, roast into some slight spice, earth, coffee with a touch of maple finishing slightly sweet.

b3shine (8460) - Indiana, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Draft to taster at the Eccentric Cafe. Abv is listed as 8.1%. looks solid; a little transparent for an imperial stout though. Cola with beige lacing. Smells of dark malt and chocolate. Tastes like it smells, only better, with notes of hops, vanilla, and honey. Good on the palate. Enjoyable.
