Flavors of banana, clove, rose, and laundry detergent. This ones seems a little off to me. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 19, 2010
Orange body with small white head. Aroma of banana and clove. Flavor is similar with added cereal/bread depth. Sweeter than expected. Refreshing And crisp MereLikesBeer (195) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAR 11, 2010
I’m rating this way late, so I’m not going to elaborate too much. I had this on tap at the eccentric cafe. I felt that Bells did a decent job making a Belgian. They achieved that banana clove notes that I generally look for. It had a decent mouth feel, not too much carbonation, but enough to make it still have the feel of a Belgian. I would have it again. Tap at eccentric cafe. Pours a hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of bread, peary yeast, hay, earth, and marshmellows. My notes are shit since I was distracted by a so called friend. Good beer though Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JAN 29, 2010
On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Translucent orange body, narrow ring of off-white carbonation. Nose of candy corn -- mostly banana and clove. Candylike bubblegum body with banana and clove, estery and phenolic, but not too sweet. Medium-bodied. Pretty good.
