Draught at the Ginger Man, Manhattan, 10/9/16.arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Minimally hazy, orange-copper-golden body is topped by a sparse, white head with low retention.
Paper, cardboard, stale nuts and finally some pine sap with a pinch of caramel and no alcohol.
Rather bland, over-attenuated, with some sour, pine-laden hops and sourdough, wax, nuttiness and seltzer water on the end. Low carbonation, no alcohol. I guess no one is drinking Bells in NYC and this has just sat on tap too long? Hard to imagine Bells could make something this terrible, though they certainly seem to be a shell of their former self.
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear golden pour with white head, aroma brought floor cleaner, windex lemon, some hints of grass, bread in there with a chemical note as well, yikes. Taste is a bit bitter, the verbana is a bit too intense and gives a chemically note, some slight bread, finishing bitter. MrBunn (2844) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2014
On tap at Eccentric. Clear gold with a thin head. Aromas of floor cleaner and Country Maid Lemonade powder mix. Flavor is flat out powdered lemonade with some resin on the tail end and a little pepper. Interesting but I probably could have done better for rating 2500. deyholla (12033) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 25, 2014
On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has rich citrus with a touch of resin and a grain backbone. Flavor has more sweet citrus with a grain backbone and a bit of bitter grapefruit coming through. rumproasts (5575) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 18, 2014
tap. Deep golden with small head. Citrus hops with lemon verbena. Very delicous. Lemon flavor really fits well here.

On tap at Bells. This gets a solid whatever. Either you love it or hate it they said. No, it’s just a passable pale. Lemony no doubt. The lemon balm comes through enough to hide much of anything else. But it’s a pale ale so I’m not big on them anyhow. Plus the lemon thing isn’t my cup of tea. Ok beer. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - AUG 30, 2014
Tap @ Bells: Super cloudy, sunburst orange with a soapy white film & collar. Aroma of moderate grapefruit, floral hops, light herbal lemon tea leaves, & faint soapiness. Light, crisp taste. Mild candied grapefruit, floral hops, lemon tea, mild orange peel, cracker malt, verbena. Nice & light, slightly floral finish. Really tasty, drinkable pale. b3shine (9073) - Indiana, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Draft to taster at Eccentric Cafe. Looks good; a transparent golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells nice and hoppy with notes of citrus and a mildly sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, with more lemon, and a pleasant mouthfeel. Enjoyable. jcos (1851) - Maryland, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Savor 2014. Lots of lemon in the aroma and taste, medium light bitterness, really enjoyable. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Solid beer. Aromas of earthy lemon and other citrus. Lemon really came through in the taste. Was very fresh and crisp. Loved this beer.
