Tap at Mellow. Pours a deep gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Tart cherry and grain on the nose with a bit of vinegar. The brett comes through nicely. Light tartness with cherry, wood and pepper. Lingering tart cherry. Oud-bruin-like to me and in a good way.

Draft at Eccentric Cafe. Really subtle flavors--pear, lemon, tartness. Rye may be there but my palate missed it.

On Draught
Pours a hazy golden with a small but well retained head & some lacing on the glass.

The aroma is lemon zest & apricot with some great clean laundry aroma and a bit of wet limestone.

The flavor is a bit metallic but then itís also tart & fruity. Plenty of apricot & some yeastiness. Plenty dry, lightly sour & mildly bitter. This is pretty tasty really.

Hazy redish amber color. Fruity aroma. Taste is lightly sour fruit. Pretty plain, all things considered.

On tap @ Churchillís. Dark brown colored pour with a small khaki head. Has an almost fatty, savory nose to it. Some roast, toast, and a bit of rice vinegar. Slightly nutty as well. The flavor is kind of odd, but not bad in anyway. Lots of toasted malt, some light sourness, and a strong breadiness. Same sort of nutty character as the nose.

[ Keg ][ 4oz ][ Churchillís Pub ][ $2 ][ Tasting Flute ][ 3.7.15 ]
>> Deep cola brown pour, okay foam. Balanced roast coffee nose, nothing Brett that I can detect, more pumpernickel bread. Taste is richer and malty, excellent bread crust, pumpernickel, minerally. Good body, aerated, high carbonation, balanced bitterness. Nothing about this is sour/wild- pretty much just a rye brown ale.
