Tap sample at EC. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy herbal, citrus hop and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is was a solid beer but soft for style. crossovert (13947) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2013

2014. Sampled from the tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Pours a near clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains and cookie with a hint of light fruit and biscuit underlying. Flavor has strong sweet grains with some toffee, light fruits and a hint of cookie supporting. rosenbergh (11809) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2013
Draught at the Bell’s Eccentric Café, Kalamazoo, MI. 8.2%.b3shine (9154) - Indiana, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Hazy amber colour with a small off-white head.
Dark fruits and mild maltiness in the aroma. Quite easy and mild for a Barley Wine. The flavour is fruits, dark fruits, strong hops. Like fruit punch and booze mixed together. Very strong flavour.
Draft to taster at Eccentric Cafe. Looks decent; light for a barleywine though. A transparent orange with. Sticky off-white lacing. Smells of mild malt and hops. Tastes like it smells with a light barleywine sweetness. Average on the palate. An underwhelming example of the style.

4oz draft at Churchkey for meet the brewer event. Poured a hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma was light sweet malts, caramel notes, some light booze, but not overpowering. Plenty of sweet malts, caramel, pine, pretty enjoyable. JaBier (8253) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Sample at Bell’s on 5/18/14. Clear copper in color with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel and red wine. Malty and vinous flavor with a minty cherry finish. Interesting. PhillyCraft (7939) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Glass at Time with Remy, pours reddish brown with small head. Reminds me more of a quad or Belgian strong, notes are grape, Belgian malt, wet wood, and other dark fruits. Medium body and carbonation. Just ok. GenDV138 (7708) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - APR 24, 2014
