12 ounce. Light brown in color. Cherry soda flavor. Carbonation fades. Soda sweetness. blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 16, 2010
bottle from batch #6898 mine from dak in trade. opened and poured a bit flat with a heavy brown orange amber color and little white head. aroma has deep dank cherry, dark dried fruit, some sweetness, and overall is a bit off. flavor has over ripe dark cherry, more sour than sweet, fig, and some tart bitterness on the end. I can see where this would have been fresh but I cant say age has done this any favors. kbutler1 (1382) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 7, 2010
Bottle with a batch # of 6898. A very old bottle indeed! Bottle popped open with very little carbonation. Poured an opaque reddish brown hue with zero head. The aroma is fruity but not overly so. Tart fruit and then a very 1 sided fruity wheat flavor. The bottle is very old so I don’t really know what to expect out of this. Bitter flat aftertaste. Tasty for being old/flat but not too bad, would have loved to taste this one in its heyday!
Medium mouthfeel. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 14, 2010
Bottle from gcurlow. Love those unrated bells! Pours a murky reddish color, no real head. Aroma of bing cherries, apple juice, cran-cherry juice, and some yeasty notes. Flavor is like drinking a watered down glass of apple cherry juice. This beer is still drinkable, but not all that great. Not that it ever was. DialSquare (5186) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2010
From an old rating note: 12oz bottle from Andersons in Toledo (I think). Sour cherry taste. tart, acidic - weird taste. Would have to try again for a more complete taste. Only have a score.

Draft at Eccentric Cafe. Pours a reddish amber. Small off white head. Mild cherry aroma. Tastes of tart cherries. Only had a sampler (had reached my limit). Really enjoyed this as a sampler because the Michigan tart cherries stood out, but not sure if I’d want a whole pint. Will definitely try again however. Fulmonte21 (42) - USA - SEP 11, 2009
Too much cherry. Tasted like cough medicine mixed with beer. It was dark drown with a hint of crimson. I really wanted this beer to e good and others in my group did like it, but it just wasn’t for me. coyotehunter (698) - , Michigan, USA - JUN 23, 2009
On tap 6/23/09. Pours a ruby ambery color with not much in the way of a head. Aromas are faint of tart cherries and a hint of lemon. Flavor is tart cherry pie filling, though not as medicinal as I anticipated. Somewhat sour and tart on the palate, medium carbonation. A little dry and crisp in the finish. Better than I expected. Pours with a slightly cloudy amber body topped by a thin head with little lacing. IT’s sweet and full of cherry notes with light malty notes. Light to medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 30, 2009
The Birdman is my favorite basketball player. Man that dude can jump out of the gym Somewhat old cherry aroma. Perhaps a touch of oxidation. Very juicy smelling. Pours a murky brownish red with some bubbles. It looks like Naked juice or something. More juicy flavors - all cherry juice, fresh with little sugary sweetness really just real fruit flavors. For some reason after the fresh cherry juicy notes I got a soft touch of smoke. Very odd, but interesting at the same time. Not bad.
