5th May 2008. A cool smooth feel to this stout. Perfectly offsets the acid cherry against the roasty malt creating something unique. Very drinkable. Travlr (24626) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 12, 2010
Very dark maroon with no head and no lacing to speak of.
Aroma of chocolate, cocoa and roasted coffee.
Flavor begins with sweet malt and caramel, then progresses to chocolate. Cherries come in rather suddenly near the finish, a pleasant surprise.
Good one, very drinkable. cgarvieuk (24448) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 7, 2010
bottle at home ... black thinist of tan lacing ... base note cherry and chocolate ... little cocnut in nose ... fizzy ... cola syrup ... lots of alcohol ... dark cherry ... little red wine .... almost bourbon .... some chocolate ... definite cherry linger followed by some bitterness
