On tap at Bells. Poured straight amber with white head. Aroma of a funky brewery yeast light pineapple. Light carb med bod. Bittering taste.

Tasted on tap at Bell’s in Kalamazoo. It poured a clear copper with minimal head and lacing. A flat aroma with a bitter hop taste.

Had it on tap at Bell’s in Kalamazoo. For a 3.8, this is a great beer, for a micro-brew, it’s ok. Great clear amber color, a little head (that’s what she said), and a tangy hop bitter taste.

Sample at Bell’s on 5/18/14. Clear amber pour with a thick white head. Aroma of weed and malt. Malty and oniony flavor with a dank floral finish.

On tap at Eccentric. Pours a golden color with a thin head. The color strikes me as odd, since the board says "sessionable red," but whatever. Aromas are faintly soapy with a little mint or something. The malt and hops come through fairly cleanly, especially for a 3.8% beer, and it is neither too thin nor too pungently bitter. Kind of a delicate pale malt base with a delicate citrusy hops presence and an almost chewy mouthfeel. Even though it rates low on the hedonism scale, it is a very nice drink for this low of an ABV.

Solid gold pour similar to apple juice. Thick corona of white foam on top. Very light aroma of rye ancitrus hop. Relatively average carbonation, dry salty bitter finish but not overwhelming. Taste is medium strength, lots of rye and nutty malt, citrus hop is present as well. Really great session ale with great complexity for the low ABV.

Draft to taster at Eccentric Cafe. Looks solid; light for the style though. A transparent gold with thin white lacing. Smells of mild citrus hops and sweetness with a touch of grain as well. Tastes like it smells with a bit more grain and an average mouthfeel. Alright.
