Nursed a goblet or whatever it’s called of this at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe. You can send your tongue in pretty much any direction and find a new hidden taste in this one. Fair Trade Organic Venezuelan cocoa with some coffee and some sorta nuts and some caramel and some burnt-out barley and toasted barley and smooth sweet barley. If that sounds gross to you then you haven’t had this brew. All the hops in the world seem to balance out all the malts really well. This beer tastes like it has more shit in it than any brew I’ve ever had. I want to move to St. Petersburg or Copenhagen and spend a winter living off of this shit. I bet I’d be hairier and have bigger muscles. Without a doubt the best six dollar bar draft of my fucking life.

2016 bottle. Perfectly black colour, small beige head with decent duration and lacing. Aroma of raisins, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, dark and roasted malts, with notes of espresso, mocca, cocoa. Taste is medium+ sweet and medium to heavy bitter, nicely sweet and roasted, of milk and dark chocolate, raisins, coffee, cocoa, light licorice and plum, with notes of molasses, roasty. Chocolate and roasted, burnt notes in the finish. Full body, oily, creamy texture, soft carbonation. A bit too roasted finish, but great, complex flavour. Excellent RIS, one of the best classic imperial stouts I’ve ever tried. danielst (406) - AUSTRIA - AUG 6, 2017
12oz bottle (bottled 2015, consumed 2017). Looks thick and black. Fragrant roasted malt and nougat aroma with ripe dark fruits and some aged wine notes. The mouthfeel is fairly thick and carbonation is low. Melker (264) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2017
Nice reddish daaaaark brown colour. Love sweet imperial stouts like this, lots of milk chocolate and chocolate beans, strong aroma and taste of vanilla. Little bit vinous, not very complex but whatever. I like it.

Nice and proper imperial stout. Ashy, bitter stew of coffee and dark chocolate. Good balance of alcohol/bitter ratio. For its price it is an outstanding brew bonev (790) - POLAND - JUL 19, 2017

Bottle from de Fles Winkel. Very dark with Brown head. Smells like boozy chocolate raspberry and play doh. Chocolate, moderate bitterness, with some smooth sweetness. MarcoBasile (446) - DENMARK - JUL 2, 2017
Pours deep deep brown. Looks totally black in the glass. Nicely lacing tan head.
Aroma of caramelized malts, bitter coffee, dark chocolate. Warming alcoholic presence.
Taste is sweet, roasty smooth cappuccino coffee, cocoa nibs, malts and medium to intense charred bitterness in the finish. Lovely balance between sweet and bitter. Warming.
Oily mouthfeel, medium to full body, soft carbonation.
