Bottle. [ Courtesy of drewbeerme ] Black color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark chocolate, mocca / cacao. Flavor is wow .... moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. So good balance ... very very nice. Body is full, texture is creamy / syrupy, carbonation is flat. This is very nice wow .. ;o)) yespr (49173) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2007
RBSG07. From bottle. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is hoppy and and sweet raisin. Flavour is soft malty, chocolate, raisin sweet. Finish is slight bitter on top of the coffee note. Very nice indeed. Ungstrup (39104) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2004
A pitch black beer with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is a little sour, a little smoked, and a littel sweet. The flavor is fantastic; smoked, chocolate, coffee combined with a little sourness. It ends on a note of coffee. The sourness draws down in my overall rating of this beer - so that it is only good in my world. joergen (29799) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2005
Bottled at RBESG 2005.
Black coloured with a brown head.
Sweet roasted aroma with notes of coffee.
Nice flavour with lots of coffee, hops and roasted notes.

Bottle. Thans to JohnC for this one!. Pours a black color with a tan head. Sweet roasted malty hoppy aroma with hints of chocolate, dark fruit and alcohol. Sweetish roasted malty hoppy flavor with hints of cocholate, coffee and dark fruits. Roasted malty hoppy finish with more of that chocolate and leaves you with a bitter aftertaste. Very lovely!.

Pours slowly, thick as motor oil, black as tar. Brown head. Smoky, roasted coffee aroma. Bitter dark chocolate flavor with balanced hops. A winner. madmitch76 (26850) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2011

Opaque brown - black stout. Rich sumptuos beer. Smooth, thick and silky. Fruity note in the mid of sweet cherry and a trace of peach. Finishes with a smooth mildly roasty malt and a slightly bitter aftertaste. All very smooth! The fruity mid really makes this stout.

Bottled (thanks heemer77). Pitch black opaque colour, mediumsized brown foamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, licorace, coffee, spices, caramel, slight hints of alcohol and a lot of chocolate. A real mindblaster. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, some oak, spices, juniper and burnt sugar. All in a lovely mix. The alcohol shows only in a slightly warming feeling. The aftertaste is smoked wet wood and roasted malts along with smooth chocolate. Absolutely marvellous! omhper (26043) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 17, 2003
Bottled, thanks hopsrus!!
Very black with no head. Vinous nose with fruit and chocolate. A wall of malt hits me at first sip, then licorice, tar, salt and sensory overload... The finish is full of plums, raisin and hop bitterness. Yikes, this is bitter.
