On tap at the Eccentric cafe 4/29/09. Not really caring for the rubber band aroma very much. Taste is of banana bread, cloves, some nutmeg and general funk. carbonation is a bit high. Doesnt really come together for me like a Hefe should, but whatever I guess. MrBunn (2807) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2008
On tap at Eccentric Cafe. Pour is a pale and hazy gold with a small head. Aromas are of yeast, cloves and astringent alcohol. Alcohol seemed to stand out a bit much on this, but it got better as it warmed a bit. Still, it seemed like an unbalanced hefe. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 27, 2008
draft at the brewpub - Pours cloudy yellow-brown with a one finger head. The aroma is of wheat and spice. It tastes sweet with wheat, citrus, and spice characteristic. The palate is lively and this brew is simply an excellent, flavorful hefeweizen. Very well done!
