Sampled at Elijah Ps. Huge alcohol here. This is like drinking medicine. Smooth sweet honey with just a little lemon. So very boozy and hard to enjoy because of that.

Sample at Strong Ale Fest 2016. Comes a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of honey, fruit, and bourbon. Taste is honey, orange, wood, and bourbon. Not sure about this one.

Keg at Kardinal Hall, 6/23/16. Hazy amber, thin frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of orange peel, honey, rye, wood. The taste is orange peel, grapefruit, honey, wood, mild whiskey. Full bodied, well balanced, mild booze but generally well hidden.

Snifter at Maxís Taphouse Deep caramel color with a minimal head and lots of legs. Sweet honey bourbon syrupy fruity nose and flavor with faint earthy pine hops. Great sipper, but hard to call this beer, more like a liqueur.

Listigovers (1086) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 12, 2016
Smells like honey, melon, and a light whisky. Orange brown pour with white thin head. This is an extreme beer, very liqueur like texture, thick and oily. Some herbal flavour and strong sweet honey, difficult and interesting, lots of heat, very full bodied.

Draft that pours a middle orange with light carbonation light white head. Aroma is honey. Bourbon, orange, medium hop nose. Flavor is a mess but for me works. Plenty of honey in the flavor, bourbon, oak and lots of alcohol. Itís a lot scattered but Iím ok with it.

Not as harsh as I thought it would be but extremely syrupy as expected. Probably wouldnít drink again.

Tap at Maduro pre GTMW 2014. Sweet mead. Rich, sweet. Orange-tan body. Pretty brutal beer in the morning/afternoon! Tasty and unique. Mead IPA.

BOLTZ7555 (3022) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 25, 2015
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest...and lived to tell about it. Bit of a horror story, really. How does a brewery like Bellís allow a beer like this enter the market? Where is the pride in their brand? I understand that this is the intersection of art and science but neither works here. Hazy burnt tangerine with a super small soapy head. And by soap, I mean Lifebuoy (sorry for the Christmas Story reference). Yuck. Medicinal, alcoholic, uber sweet, weird lemon Lysol flavor, chemical elements. Just a disaster. Why oh why?

tap at 2015 michigan winter beer fest. Deep golden with minimal head. Extremely sweet with some definitely honey influence. Hops are present, but buried beneath the sweetness. Cloying. Seems very big, but not 16% boozy.
