Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Draft sample at IBGF Summer09.
Poured a hazy amber color with an average white frothy head that lasted and produced good lacing. Light to moderate citrus hop and small malt aroma. Light to medium body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of average duration.
At best an average brew. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2009
(Draught) Pours an orange body with a medium off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of pine, grass, mustiness, nuts, and resin. Flavor of hops (pine, grass, earth, resin), grain, and caramel malt. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Easy drinking and thirst quenching ipa here. Plenty of citrus and fruit notes, malty but not in a bad way. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 30, 2016
Sampled from the tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice citrus note with a touch of peach and a light grain backbone. Flavor combines bitter citrus, grass and peach well with a light grain backbone. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2013
GABF 2013. Pours a bit hazy golden orange appearance with a light tan head. Soft grapefruity/citrusy, somewhat spicy hoppy aroma. Flavor really reminds me of Two Hearted with a juicy grapefruity forward flavor along with some grassy and herbal notes. Would like to drink again.

Sampled at The Big Pour beerfest in Scottsdale AZ. I don’t recall that "Kalamazoo" was listed in the name, but seeing as there is no other Bell’s IPA listed, then this must be the one! Resinous hoppy aroma, some citrus. Slightly grainy palate, a little thin on the malt end, but big resinous hoppy bitterness and citrus-peel fruit. Tasty, but Parksy and I both preferred the locally brewed 4 Peaks IPA. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2014
~5oz pour on tap at Maduro during GTMW. Hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves pretty nice lace. Great citrusy hop profile, lightly spicy citrus, tropical fruit notes, guava, mango. Impressive hop. Some light bubblegum. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid, refreshing smooth and flavorful hoppy well-done IPA. arminjewell (9670) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice grapefruit, pine, resinous notes, some hints of earth, spice, some nice caramel and biscuit tones into a bit of sweet cracker. Taste is a mix of orange, grapefruit, slight tropical into hints of biscuit, bread, slight caramel, finishing fairly bitter. b3shine (8874) - Indiana, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Draft to taster at Eccentric Cafe. Looks solid; a mostly transparent golden orange with white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; juicy and piney hops with a pale malt backbone. Tastes less robust with an average mouthfeel. Okay beer, but an underwhelming example of the style. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2013
Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours a clear caramel amber with some frothy, white head. Nose has malt, orange, honey. Flavor is malty, honey comb, orange. Clean finish. Sweet. Not much else happening.
