COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

On tap @ Mad Mex: Black with a medium dark tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee, and some chocolate. Flavor, coffee, a fruity sweetness, some chocolate, a bittersweet finish. Really nice of draft.

(Tap at Hop Devil) Black body, medium tan head with good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of toasts and roasted coffee beans. Really nice body full of creamy malts, like I was drinking a cake. Some liquorice/molasses/raisins add to the complexity. An enchanting stout that sounds like a spell from a Harry Potter book.

Batch 7532, in a trade with Hellomynameis - thanks Zac. Massive brown frothy head, opaque black pour, decent lace. Roasted coffee aroma. Smooth, full body for a very nice mouthfeel. Rich dark roast coffee flavor with hints of dark chocolateunctuated by peppery spice and some citrus zest. Nice dry finish. Very satisfying.

12 oz bottle. Pours black, perhaps not the darkest black iíve seen a stout, but definitely dark. Very strong aroma of roast, coffee, bitterness, I could smell it from several feet away. Dark malty flavor, chocolate is present. Very good.

Strong complex aroma of coffee and roast, color is pitch opaque black with brown head. Pours a huge head which leaves good lacing. Bitter chocolate flavor, slightly sweet too. Great aftertaste, wonderful for sipping. Palate is somewhat less than the "creamy" descriptor. A great beer, definitely need to load up on these!

12-ounce brown bottle. Opaque very dark brown color with a thick dark lasting tan head and lace. Incredibly rich chocolatey aroma. Medium-bodied with a very full mouthfeel. Creamy. Dark malt dominate the flavor, especially chocolate, and it finishes slightly dry, more toasted than roasted. Big on flavors but not on alcohol kick. Impressive!

Bottle. Really, a very good straight forward stout. Very roasty, with a thin tan head. A classic stout that I would drink anytime. Very good.
