Pours black with a thin khaki head. Slight maltiness on the nose. Big licorice on the tongue. Very flavorful. Finishes clean. Solid example of style.
12floz bottle, BOD: 05.23.2017, $1.75 as a single, pint glass. Appears a very dark brown with a brown head. Smells like smoke, charred wood so to say. The palate is full of smoke, molasses, and bakers cocoa. Yet, the body is medium, and has a dirty dryness too. A worthwhile robust stout. Erzengel (9329) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 10, 2017
Smooth dry beginning. Easy to drink, dry roasted grin, smooth and sessionable. Not too much depth, light in flavour with a nice roasted dry aftertaste without any hop-bitterness. Nice. beergearbox (58) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2017
Ale's a strong wrestler,
Flings all it hath met;
And makes the ground slippery,
Though it not be wet. higgsbison (260) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2017
December 2015. A very nice Stout. Good cold but mellows and complexities emerge as it warms. Notes of chocolate, Coffee and dark malts. Full-bodied with a nice mouth feel. Well balanced but the bitterness didn't come through very well when cold.

Piwo koloru czarnego z beżową pianą. W aromacie mleczna czekolada, czekoladowe ciastko, delikatne suszone owoce. W smaku kawa, gorzka czekolada, paloność. Po przełknięciu na podniebieniu zostaje posmak lukrecji. Fajne gładkie i kremowe ciało, wysycenie średnie. Ogólnie ciekawy stout. Ronritter (873) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2017

(Bottle, 0.355 l - bottled on 5/18/16, from Sip Tartu, 20170907) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweetness and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. Despite the strong burntness the end result was nicely balanced. kevinator (2574) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2017
