COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

Poured into snifter with a 1 finger tan head which quickly dissipated leaving slight lacing. Beer is very dark colored. Aroma filled with roasted malts, vanilla and toffee. Great roasted flavor with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Beer finishes bitter with notes of the hops and licorice. Medium body, less heavy than I expected based on the appearance. Moderate amount of carbonation, could be slightly creamier. Overall a great beer with lots of flavor. This is the first Bell’s that I’ve had, looking forward to trying more!

Bottle from Uba ja Humal. Black with beige head. Such lovely deep roasty brew with just a tiny hint of licorice. Dryish grainy on the palate, lightish, very soft carbonation. Excellent!

Bottle from Rakuten awhile ago. Contrasting with the cola black of the porter this stout poured a beautiful makkuro inky black with an incredibly dark purplish-tan head. Not as strong an aroma as the Porter but then again I had it at a colder temperature. The aroma featured toasted oats, roastedness and chocolate. Full bodied but with a rougher mouthfeel than the Porter. I was expecting it to be smoother. The flavor is roasty, chocolate and oats. Makes for a solid stout though I believe I prefer the Porter much to my surprise though the stout looks better.

Bottle, bought in Krakow, Poland for 20zl. Black color with medium nice looking brown head. Aroma: Coffee, chocolate, roasted almond. Taste: Coffe, nuts, light licorice, bitter ending with a dry roasted aftertaste. Thick watery mouthfeel. Lots of carbonation, a bit to much in my opinion.

Very nice stout. The beer is thick. Olive aroma, malty, hoppy. Very nice bitter taste. The palate is also bitter and very drinkable.

Nice stout, it is like an imperial stout. In comparison with De Molen's imperial stouts - it is almost the same. Bitter, roasted, malty, a little bit watery (it is not imp. stout), was good to take it with dark choco. Olive aroma, so interesting, coffee after taste, olive after taste. Saltiness. Little bit hoppy. Good beer.

Bottle from I don’t remember where. Jet black colour with a slight tan head. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. Taste light sweet to mid bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2017 Nice roastiness, dark chocolate, malts, a bit of ash and a nice slight sweetness to it. Taste is nice and balanced, in a full body. Nice roastiness, almost no sweetness, which is surprisingly nice. Chocolate, dakr fruits, dark malts. Some hoppy bitterness. Bitter, roasty finish. Good.

Ciemno brunatny stout z niezłą pianą. Aromat głównie kawa, gorzka czekolada, trochę nut palonych, w oddali owoce. W smaku podobnie, jak dla mnie za mało tzw ciała. Ogólnie niezły stout
