4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours thick and dark with a dark brown head that lasts and lasts. Looks like a thing of beauty! Leaves some thick lacing. Before tasting I'm already so happy. The aroma is chocolate and roasted malts. Pretty much void of hops. The flavor follows suit. The brew is delicious with chocolate roasted malt flavors and just a hint of floral hop notes. Overall this is worth having a few times. And then again.

Very nice stout. The beer is thick. Olive aroma, malty, hoppy. Very nice bitter taste. The palate is also bitter and very drinkable. beermastersasho (134) - - OCT 23, 2017
Nice stout, it is like an imperial stout. In comparison with De Molen's imperial stouts - it is almost the same. Bitter, roasted, malty, a little bit watery (it is not imp. stout), was good to take it with dark choco. Olive aroma, so interesting, coffee after taste, olive after taste. Saltiness. Little bit hoppy. Good beer. Mr_Pink_152 (5437) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2017
Bottle from I don’t remember where. Jet black colour with a slight tan head. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. Taste light sweet to mid bitter. geolgau (426) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - OCT 21, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2017 Nice roastiness, dark chocolate, malts, a bit of ash and a nice slight sweetness to it. Taste is nice and balanced, in a full body. Nice roastiness, almost no sweetness, which is surprisingly nice. Chocolate, dakr fruits, dark malts. Some hoppy bitterness. Bitter, roasty finish. Good. Daboch (113) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 13, 2017
Ciemno brunatny stout z niezłą pianą. Aromat głównie kawa, gorzka czekolada, trochę nut palonych, w oddali owoce. W smaku podobnie, jak dla mnie za mało tzw ciała. Ogólnie niezły stout

12floz bottle, BOD: 05.23.2017, $1.75 as a single, pint glass. Appears a very dark brown with a brown head. Smells like smoke, charred wood so to say. The palate is full of smoke, molasses, and bakers cocoa. Yet, the body is medium, and has a dirty dryness too. A worthwhile robust stout. Erzengel (9364) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 10, 2017
Smooth dry beginning. Easy to drink, dry roasted grin, smooth and sessionable. Not too much depth, light in flavour with a nice roasted dry aftertaste without any hop-bitterness. Nice. beergearbox (64) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2017
Ale's a strong wrestler,
Flings all it hath met;
And makes the ground slippery,
Though it not be wet. higgsbison (261) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 21, 2017
December 2015. A very nice Stout. Good cold but mellows and complexities emerge as it warms. Notes of chocolate, Coffee and dark malts. Full-bodied with a nice mouth feel. Well balanced but the bitterness didn't come through very well when cold.
