This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

Bottle from my not so secret Santa, thanks Jeff. Pours almost pitch black with a huge frothy light tanned head. Aroma of light roasted malts, coffee and caramel. Taste is more hop oriented than suggested by the aroma, still a good part of malty sweetness, chocolate and light roasted malts. High carbonated. Light oily and dry mouthfeel. Good stout, classy.

Bottle, pours dark treacle brown, not much head, small off white lace. Aroma is a complex mixture of caramel, treacle, chocolate, roast, smoke, prune and raisin. Body is medium full, texture is full and viscous. Donít think this needs to come out of the fridge, added complexity as it warms. Finish has great balance, with light malt sweetness which dried. Soft to flat carbonation.

"Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts" - which must have been brewed right to perfection for this only 6-percenter so packed with aroma and flavor and with such a perfect balance of roast and chocolate, bitter and sweet, licorice and coffee, and a superb mouthfeel. Oh wow!

Pi?knie i intensywnie w aromacie. Mnůstwo kakao. Troch? kawy i orzechůw. Barwa czarna i niska, be?owa obr?czka. W smaku ju? nie jest tak dobrze. Pierwsze wra?enie dosy? wodniste. Wybija si? kawa, brakuje kakao. Gorzka czekolada. Goryczka czekoladowa, dobrze zbalansowane ale brakuje porz?dniejszego finiszu. Troch? sie rozczarowa?em.

Pours a dark black with a nice creamy tan head that left some beautiful lacing around the glass. The aroma is chocolate, lots of coffee, medium to heavy roasted barley malts and brown bread. The flavor is more of the same. The mouthfeel is light to medium and drinkability is quite high.
