COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a full-bodied stout with plenty of roast flavor as well as hints of molasses and chocolate. Ridiculous amounts of black and caramel malts make this stout smooth, creamy, and utterly opaque.

Bottle from my not so secret Santa, thanks Jeff. Pours almost pitch black with a huge frothy light tanned head. Aroma of light roasted malts, coffee and caramel. Taste is more hop oriented than suggested by the aroma, still a good part of malty sweetness, chocolate and light roasted malts. High carbonated. Light oily and dry mouthfeel. Good stout, classy.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2017 Nice roastiness, dark chocolate, malts, a bit of ash and a nice slight sweetness to it. Taste is nice and balanced, in a full body. Nice roastiness, almost no sweetness, which is surprisingly nice. Chocolate, dakr fruits, dark malts. Some hoppy bitterness. Bitter, roasty finish. Good.

Ciemno brunatny stout z niezłą pianą. Aromat głównie kawa, gorzka czekolada, trochę nut palonych, w oddali owoce. W smaku podobnie, jak dla mnie za mało tzw ciała. Ogólnie niezły stout

12floz bottle, BOD: 05.23.2017, $1.75 as a single, pint glass. Appears a very dark brown with a brown head. Smells like smoke, charred wood so to say. The palate is full of smoke, molasses, and bakers cocoa. Yet, the body is medium, and has a dirty dryness too. A worthwhile robust stout.

Smooth dry beginning. Easy to drink, dry roasted grin, smooth and sessionable. Not too much depth, light in flavour with a nice roasted dry aftertaste without any hop-bitterness. Nice.

Bottle. Ale's a strong wrestler, Flings all it hath met; And makes the ground slippery, Though it not be wet.

December 2015. A very nice Stout. Good cold but mellows and complexities emerge as it warms. Notes of chocolate, Coffee and dark malts. Full-bodied with a nice mouth feel. Well balanced but the bitterness didn't come through very well when cold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Piwo koloru czarnego z beżową pianą. W aromacie mleczna czekolada, czekoladowe ciastko, delikatne suszone owoce. W smaku kawa, gorzka czekolada, paloność. Po przełknięciu na podniebieniu zostaje posmak lukrecji. Fajne gładkie i kremowe ciało, wysycenie średnie. Ogólnie ciekawy stout.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - bottled on 5/18/16, from Sip Tartu, 20170907) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, sweetness and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, ashy and bitter. Despite the strong burntness the end result was nicely balanced.
