I’m not getting the low scores here, this is a damn near perfect czech pils. I would drink this anywhere anytime. Really nice soft malting, classic soft water effects with the gentle hop aromatics and floral hop bitterness that perfectly complements the dry crackery malts. Pale golden color. hershiser2 (3825) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Bottle as Lager of the Lakes from Total Wine, West Richmond. Pours pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of grasses. Flavor is bitter grass, light fruitiness, glue, and malt. Boring, ordinary, all that. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2016
Bottle. Golden clear appearance and pretty flat. Slightly fruity and a reasonable thirst quencher, but thats amout all. Average to the point of being boring. thegreenrooster (4626) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 3, 2016
Pour is a hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is a wet doughy malt with a little burning. Flavor is a clean pale malt with a bit of bitterness after the swallow. Very thick body for a lager but again very clean and you get the full richness of the malt. If only all pale lagers could be made this way. ciocanelu (3109) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - NOV 25, 2016
Slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is mostly malty, grainy, clean. Taste follows with the clean, grainy malt profile but there is also a medium earthy hop bitterness. It doesn’t linger to long though. Light to medium bodied with crisp carbonation. Overall it’s an easy drinking clean lager but I think it’s a bit too harsh with its earthy bitterness.

Thanks altonbrownd for the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing well filtered bright golden yellow with a head of clean white foam.
The nose shows mildly sweet lager malt.
The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Completely dry with a very light practically undetectable malt backbone. Comparatively strong but overall light hoppy bitterness on the finish that seems out of place. Disjointed flavors and hoppy bitterness that should not have been added for this style. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2016
