tap at Club Soda, Ft Wayne - Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head and a fruity, spicy, yeasty aroma. The flavor is sweet with spicy yeast and fruit notes suggestive of light grapes and berries. It’s bubbly and light to medium bodied, a good though not great brew.

translucent red-amber, thin tan ring. Caramel and acetic acid marriage in nose, very balanced. Sweet caramel-Apple front palate, softly cherry acetic adding brightness, both in check and balanced. Oily across mid, too much foeder with light glue elements, balance bordering on high-end Oude bruin except for acid dominance and low fruit/sugar content.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a caramel-orange color with a large creamy orange-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was dusty and chalky with citric acid, a touch of tropical fruit and a bit of medicine. The flavor was tart citrus, chalk, astringency, cracker and cactus. tap at 2016 michigan winter beer festival. Deep amber with small head. Mildly tart with some berry. Earthy and spice add to a nice yeasty funk.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Cloudy amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly tart fruit, caramel malt and mild grassy hops. The finish is mildly hoppy up front with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
