draft at the brewpub - Pours clear yellow and has a mild honey aroma. It has a very sweet honey flavor that easily buries the alcohol. There’s a slight flowery accent. Enjoyable though more complexity and somewhat toned down sweetness might be better. coyotehunter (698) - , Michigan, USA - JAN 7, 2009
On tap at the eccentric cafe. First mead. a little odd as the aroma is almost nonexistent. Theres a mildly detectable honey and malt combo there with a cloudy coppery/red pour. Flavor is that of honey, bread and a funky metallic touch in there but the 9% is well hidden. Rather dry, with good carbonation.
Different. Not sure what the Vikings saw in this. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Thanks for the bottle, Derek! The pour is a pale yellow color with a little bit of carbonation to it (interesting). The nose is rather sweet with a definite grape soda aroma. There is a bit of honey to it as well as some sugar. The flavor is a bit like a grape soda mixed with an Otter Pop. Really quite sweet and sugary, though the light carbonation does help a little bit. A bit boozy, too, despite being on the lower end of alcohol for a mead. Capa (3617) - DC, Washington DC, USA - APR 21, 2012
Golden clear. Very wine like overall and not very sweet. Light citrus, light floral notes. A bit dry. Decent but too much like a wine for my tastes. Mark_Eck (1998) - - AUG 4, 2014
Draft. Pours a clear golden color. Aroma and taste are sweet honey and this is fairly light bodied.

On tap at Bells. Pour is clear yellow with no head. Aroma and flavor of light honey, floral, white grapes, and pale malt. Plain but decent. MeadMe (1694) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Pours pale. Aroma is subtle earthy honey. Flavor is light honey, hints of mineral and wax. Light Apple in the finish. Light body with zippy carbonation koleminer20 (4171) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 6, 2016
On draft at Bells. This is interesting. The pour is a crystal clear light good color with no head and no lace to be found. The aroma is sweet, but it’s light. There is a dryness there and a bit of what seems like apple skins. It’s not too bad, but it’s just so plain. The flavor is where this one falls apart. There is a ton of dry honey that just isn’t good. It’s got a little tartness from some kind of fruit skin, and it finishes strange. There seems to be a lot of apple in this one. The mouth feel is syrupy and heavy with no carbonation and a lingeringly dry, sweet honey to go with the apple thing. Not good Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 7, 2012
750mL bottle at the Black Friday Tasting pours clear colorless water with hints of golden hues and a super slim near white head. The aroma is honey, crusty dry honey, a modest white wine like note and some chemicals at the end of the draw. The taste goes from rich honey sweetness to thin semi tart white wine notes. Ok mead I guess that’s on the thin chemical and sort of tart side. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Bottle thanks to womencantsail. Pours with a clear, pale, golden hued body with a fading white head and mild legs. Aromas are sweet one the nose, honey, mild floral notes and dusty. Flavors are dry and taste a bit oxidized, dry leaves, sulfur and honey. Light acid, but not really enough to balance. Medium bodied, somewhat dry finish despite the sweetness, low carbonation. Not particularly well made.
