Draft at Eccentric cafe. Pours an opaque black. Medium light tan head. Aroma of chocolate milk. Mild sweet chocolate flavor. Very smooth. Some roastiness. Palate is light, but not watery. Very drinkable beer. Not something that is a must have, but overall is very pleasant to drink. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2010
tap at bells for stout party, 2009. murky brownish red body..aroma of indistinct sugar and not much else. sweet flavor with added lactose. so boring. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2010
This poured a very dark brown color with a very light tan head. Aroma was medium roasted malts, and light chocolate. Flavor was very silky smooth roastedness, sweet light chocolate, and some milky chalkiness too. Overall a really good milk stout. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - APR 19, 2010
Smooth Hershey Chocolate milk and roasted malt in aroma, flavor is bakers choclate with some roasted malting,a bitterness or even slight sourness that probaly comes from the lactose, not as sweet as say Left Hand, but a flavorful interesting stout for the Bells collection. On tap at Ecc. Cafe Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 21, 2009
On tap at Eccentric Cafe. Poured deep brown with a well-retained cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter chocolates and milky sugars on a succulent first impression.. touches of coffee and black patent beneath.. just what I needed! The flavor was sweet throughout with chocolate leading.. lactic sugars were laced throughout.. brownie-like finish.. bitterness was light and earthy. Sweet overall on the palate with perfect balance.. medium-bodied.. thankfully a long finish. Excellent stuff!!

Tap at Eccentric. Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Aromas are lactic, coffee and peat/ash. Flavor is much more smoky than expected. A bit thin but good. SrSilliGose (3331) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - MAR 30, 2009
draft at eccentric cafe. tastes like chocolate milk. Nothing spectacular. easy to drink. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - MAR 15, 2009
On tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Deep translucent reddish-brown body, thin off-white head. Roasty nose with light sweetness. Light chocolate and toast body, roasty and thin with delicate lactic sweetness. Nondescript. coyotehunter (698) - , Michigan, USA - FEB 14, 2009
On tap 2/4/09 at the Eccentric Cafe. On the board "dry stout/ contains dairy". Not muich in the way of aroma, pouring a dark rich brown with a thin head. Notes of caramel, milk chocolate, and a hint of fig. Fairly dry almost crisp finish with a slight metallic undertone. Not too bad.
