ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - OCT 17, 2011
Nice roast, and milk chocolate nose, just a hint of smoke and a light fruit note. The taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with smooth and creamy chocolate, plenty of lactose sweetness, light roast and coffee, dark chocolate finish. Velvety texture. Lovely beer, perfectly done milk stout.

tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Tap @ Bells: Deep brown with a black core; thin khaki film & modest collar up top. Creamy & milky sweet aroma with dark chocolate, mild hints of roast, & a touch of brown sugar. A little timid & mild overall. Nice amount of sweet lactose & milk sugars on the tongue without being overbearing. Hints of roast, coffee, & semisweet cacao nibs. A touch of char on the back-end to help balance the creamy sweetness of the brew. Light residual sugar & cocoa finish. Nice.

MrBunn (2807) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2009
Tap at Eccentric. Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Aromas are lactic, coffee and peat/ash. Flavor is much more smoky than expected. A bit thin but good.

ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Draft at Bells in Kzoo. Somewhat Faint, dry aroma. Fully opaque brown, dark tan head. Sweeter than the aroma would suggest. Not as good as Three Floydís Moloko milk stout. Pretty solid but should be a little smoother in the finish. Dry finish.

Aroma is sweet, lot of milk lactose, roasted malt. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head. Taste is milk lactose, roasted malt. Mouthfeel is light, carbonated. Overall, this is ok but Iím not blown away.

JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - NOV 19, 2012
At Eccentric, Black pour, tan head, sweet roasty and tasty. Chocolate is ever present. A nice representation of the style. Good brew!

3.8
Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Draft at the Eccentric Cafe (from backlog). Near-black pour with minimal head. Milk chocolate aromas with a bit of malt in the back. Smooth chocolate milk taste with only a hint of bitter malt at the end.

3.8
brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - APR 19, 2010
Smooth Hershey Chocolate milk and roasted malt in aroma, flavor is bakers choclate with some roasted malting,a bitterness or even slight sourness that probaly comes from the lactose, not as sweet as say Left Hand, but a flavorful interesting stout for the Bells collection. On tap at Ecc. Cafe
