Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

Can't stand this Ale. It's my personal palate. I much prefer IPAs. Probably on ok Ale if you like those types ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beer has a pure wheat aroma-- just like it should. Taste is of course, wheat, but also I detect coriander, maybe orange peel too. it finishes clean, and is not dry at all. Very refreshing.

Cloudy amber yellow with a full white head that lasts and lasts. Typical wheat beer aroma...not my favorite. Taste does make up for it though. Smooth, a little creamy going down. It’s difficult to describe, but despite this creamy feel, it’s very light and refreshing. The meh smell almost does it in, but in the end the solid, refreshing taste and smooth mouth feel saves the day.

Pale golden color, hazy, lots of floaties some of which gradually sink and create a layer on the bottom of the glass. Tall head, creamy white, that recedes slowly leaving some lacing. Wheat odor, with perhaps a bit of orange or lemon. Lemon / orange taste, like the aroma. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Nicely balanced. A light-drinking summer beer, with a pleasant lemon flavor, but not my favorite summer beer.

A great wheat ale, with light citrus notes, if I had to describe it to someone who has never had it, I would say that it is similar to Blue Moon; like Blue Moon, if you get it out of the tap at a bar, they serve it with an orange slice.

12floz bottle ($2, BOD: 04.06.2017) poured into a pint glass. This is for me the best American wheat beer. Standard hazy pale-yellow appearance , and has a hay aroma. The peppery, white flavor flows over a smooth, refined palate. It provides for a good drinking experience in the top tier for the style.

Hazy , golden color. Medium-sized. White head. Wheat malt , citrus , bread and spices in aroma. Sweet, malty taste with moderate bitterness for balance. Wheat malt , citrus and hint of yeasts on palate. Light and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
