3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 3, 2016 was pleasantly suprised. Had a bottle at back porch in ocracoke to celebrate the whole doma thing......really good for a summer/ wheat beer (which I am usually not partial too). Pours a nice caramel color with good liveliness from the carbonation. definite fruitiness to it- orange- but not overpowering. the czech hops work well here- especially refreshing. best summer ale I have tried yet this year- doesn’t make the mistake of being too light and resembling the mass produced crap that passes for "beer".
16 oz can at home. Bonus points for can. Good and refreshing but nothing special. Hop flavor comes through and slightly dry on finish. Bit of citrus and slight wheat/grass. Good. Not great.
Bottle at Burrito Gallery, Jacksonville. Sweet base malt and zesty wheat aroma with a touch of lemon and no yeast character. Hazy dark gold under a white collar. Sweet base malt flavor with little bitterness and low zesty hops. Full body and almost sticky sweet. Moderate carbonation. seehaferb23 (270) - - JUL 11, 2017
This was tasted out hot a 16oz beer can by Cannery Row Beer Club. This was the most enjoyable beer of the night. Cheers!

First beer on ratebeer. Wasn’t really prepared to leave comments, but I do feel subtle spiciness as described by other reviewers. partchapol (128) - Ohio, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Smell of sweet, mild floral. Pale orange color with medium cream foam. Taste of refreshing hop with note of wheat and citrus. Somewhat bitter but with just right texture, not overly slimy. Good beer for summer. eRock_2013 (468) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Thanks to my fellow SC beer scout Michael for sharing this nice wheat ale from Oberon! From a fresh bottle, pours a nice amber-orange haze with a long-lasting white foamy head. Aroma is a flavorful sweet and estery wheat, with a subtle hoppiness in the background, one of the more noticeably hopped wheat beers I have ever had. Taste is a mildly spicy and estery wheat with some sweet malt and a fruity hop aftertaste. The estery notes from the yeast are particularly fresh and complement the standard wheat baseline well. A highly recommended rendition of this style!

For being called a wheat beer, it's not nearly as wheaty as I expected. Tasty beer, rated high for it's surprising flavor. I would love it on tap.

Golden with a fluffy, white head and a citrus nose. Mild and lightly-carbonated, with a sticky mouthfeel and a bittersweet, lemonhead finish. BeerRenter76 (1014) - Texas, USA - JUN 23, 2017
Mid yellow hazy body with plenty of chunky yeast floaters. The head is settling but is still frothy. Aroma and flavor are spicy, grassy with faint fruits with a hint of booze on the backside. Definitely big for a wheat, but I like it. ManVsBeer (10448) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2017
Bottle from Harris Teeter, Hampstead, North Carolina. Cloudy paler golden coloured with a small head. Has a very light wheat ale character, and not really much taste in that respect. It is crisp. gf08031 (7) - - JUN 17, 2017 does not count
Can't stand this Ale. It's my personal palate. I much prefer IPAs. Probably on ok Ale if you like those types
