12oz - 2007 - Aroma is skunky marzen malts, caramel, toffee and peat. Pours transparent copper with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is a sweet match to aroma. Palate is syrupy and sticky. A pretty good Oktoberfest, even if it’s a little past due.

[891-20071201] 355mL (Xmas Party 2007, beerhugger & guests). Lightly skunky aroma has hints of sweet sickly straw. Clear, light orange red body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Fall booze flavour has a little grainy water. Medium body. Luckily not bad after that aroma.

Light copper pour, great looking beer. The aroma and flavor are less impressive. Nutty and yeasty flavor.

Bottle. Golden orange body with a small white head. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee, and some minerals. The body is a bit plain and uninteresting with mostly sweet biscuity flavours.
Tasted in December 2007.

Pours a clear as day copper with a fluffy head that dies quick. Smells of bread and grain. Tastes as it smells, bread, grain, some very mild sweetness and tiny bite at the finish. Feels medium to light in the mouth with good carbonation. Goes down very easy. A tasty Octoberfest brew but nothing that stands out.

12 oz bottle. Deep orange in color with a little white head. Honey sweet and toasty malt aroma. Caramel notes. Sweet citrusy malty flavor. Hoppy notes. Medium bodied. Drinkable.

Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - DEC 23, 2007
12 oz bottle, thanx to SS. Orangeish in color with a small head. Bubbles cling to the side of the glass. Aroma is mostly honey and toasted malts. Sweet flavor is barely cut by the lively carbonation. Flavors of biscuit and nuts. Stick to IPA’s and Stouts, Larry.

Bottle. Ratebeer Christmas in Oshawa, December 2007. Orangey body with a small creamy white head. Sweet malt aroma, light toasty malt. (6+) Similar flavour, sweetish malt primary, and a tangy malt finish with light bitterness. Average palate. Meh. Quaffable but boring. 6+/3/6/3/13

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2007 I have not have many, but of the Octoberfests that I tried, this is a good one. It is really smooth and has plenty of maly body. I like how it finishes clean.
