Nice Amber Body, and very smooth drink. One of the better Bell’s beers I have tried. Hudspart (538) - Byron Center, Michigan, USA - OCT 12, 2007
Bottle: Not bad for a marzen, but this is really not my type of beer. Clear with almost no head. Sweet and easy to drink. natejgood (508) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - OCT 12, 2007
Pours a clear, light, golden color with a white fluffy head. Not much aroma, but there are some sweet lightly hopped grass smells. The flavor is a light, sweet flavor, without too much else going on. It has less flavor than I usually look for in an octoberfest. DavidP (1748) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2007
Crystal clear amber body under a small white head. Sweet and smooth crystal malt aroma with a similar flavor. A well put-together fest beer. SHANER4 (500) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2007
12oz bottle - Poured clear copper color with small head that quickly faded. A malty aroma with very little hop scent. Flavor was a little boring but well balanced. A drinkable beer but nothing I would brag about.

copper colored pour off tan head w/ a light lace. Bready aroma some light sweet parts.. very light. Avg Pal. Flavor is well grained a touch of light hop, some bread that comes across sweet and a good amount of grain. Decent. redlem (1306) - Ohio, USA - OCT 6, 2007
Pours with a small white head, no lacing. Clear copper color some carbonation. Actually I smell the hops first, some of the yeast quality comes through. Thin body that lacks a bready taste from the malts. A little spicy. One that just did not do it for me. BallyLoser (136) - Redmond, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2007
Bottle: First off, it’s Bells! Nice Orange/Amber colour. Bitter, spicey.. everything you can expect in an oktoberfest beer! Petrucci914 (910) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2007
Pours a nice orangish-amber color. Aroma is of caramel and a bit of hops. Taste is very malty, with hints of caramel, and a slight bitter finish. I think it’s very well balanced. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - OCT 5, 2007
Pours a clear orange amber with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Sweet toasty caramel and noble bittering hop presence fills the nose. Body starts with nice rich toasty Munich maltiness and sweet caramel flavor toward a balanced, earthy hoppy finish. A nice, authentic tasting Oktoberfest.
