Pooltime Ale is a refreshing Belgian-inspired Wheat Ale with light clove notes. The truly distinguishing feature is the use of 100% Montmorency tart cherries grown in the Traverse City region of Michigan. These cherries add a subtle tartness and bright counterpoint to the other flavors, enhancing Pooltimeís fruity character and making it the perfect beer for all summer activities.

Growler courtesy of Kinz. Hazy caramel. Smells grainy with some citrus. Sweet, coriander. Not my fave.

Can. Pours hazy reddish orange with offwhite head. Aroma is sweet tart fruity with hints of coriander. Taste is sweet and spicy with a hint of cherry coriander finish. Pretty good and easy drinker.

Can from VE. Nose very sweet, clove and cherry. Pour hazy bright orange with just a hint of pink, head soapy beige with, again, the faintest hint of pink. Taste extremely sweet, essentially cloying save for the subtle bread and miniature drying at finish. Cheery cherry predominates, but a little clove and spice sneak through, strong wheat undercurrents to boot. The fruit turns into slick orange marmalade for stretches, and that too is just too much. Medium body with decent structure, clean and moderately refreshing, and not a bad flavor, but I canít take more than a few ounces on account of you-know-what. [2016.09.18: 2.7]

Little head and lacing. Beautiful hazy pink color gradient across pint glass. Musty wheat aroma and upfront taste. Fruity finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Fecal rubber and berry nose. Cloudy orange, medium head, good retention and lacing. Cherry, lemon. Cardboard finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Enjoyable, but more as an American fruit beer than any kind of Belgian style beer.

Amber pour with pink undertones. Aroma of cherry, banana, and wheat. Cherry and banana flavor with some spice, and grain. Nice beer.

Pour is a clear reddish with a average white head. Aroma is a very slight cherry with some wheat malt. Flavor is a more noticable bitter cherry but not much else. Some chewy wheat malt is present but nothing to add to the score. This was ok at best, I was hoping for a strong blast of cherry and this was more like a wheat beer with a few cherries adeed.

$2.35 can from Wine Warehouse. Pours a pinkish-orange with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma of bitter cherry, banana, yeast, and lemon. Taste is sweeter than I imagined. Cherry up front - not bitter - followed by banana, clove, honey... very interesting, Must say I am enjoying this one.

Can. Pours a reddish golden color with white head. Cherry, yeast, wheat, fruity aromas. Pie cherry, wheat, cream, yeast, fruity, sweet flavors. Kind of sweet, with a cherry pie filling flavor. But not a bad fruit beer.
