Pooltime Ale is a refreshing Belgian-inspired Wheat Ale with light clove notes. The truly distinguishing feature is the use of 100% Montmorency tart cherries grown in the Traverse City region of Michigan. These cherries add a subtle tartness and bright counterpoint to the other flavors, enhancing Pooltime’s fruity character and making it the perfect beer for all summer activities.

Can @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Aroma of wheat and cherry. Cloudy bright medium amber color, off-white head that drops to a thick cover, sprays of lace. Taste is light wheat and malt, medium fizz, then Bing cherry with little help from hops. Nice for a couple of swallows, then too much sweet for me.

Poured from the tap at the Taco Mac in Atlanta, GA. The appearance is a cloudy copper color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is wheat and sour cherries. The taste is mild wheat and cherries. A real good beer.

12 oz can. Hazy peachy orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast and related esters alongside notes of wheat and a bit of cherry. Tastes like it smells with more of a sweet cherry presence. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and finishes with a bit of tartness.

Had from CaN, 12 ounces i care to observe .. . Pink, great foam .. . Loys of belgian yeast, quiet sweet too. Medium cherry juice .. Way too sweet throughout, enjoyment fades quickly .. . . Doug can count, so count on doug for class treasurer!

Cloudy, reddish golden pour with dense, persistent white foam. Musty nose with hints of piney hops and cherry. Light fizz and light, crisp body with some slickness toward the end and a dry, sweet finish. The cherries are present in the taste but so are the hops and malt. There is a little dryness in the end, but it does not balance the sweetness of the cherry and malt.

Growler courtesy of Kinz. Hazy caramel. Smells grainy with some citrus. Sweet, coriander. Not my fave.

Can. Pours hazy reddish orange with offwhite head. Aroma is sweet tart fruity with hints of coriander. Taste is sweet and spicy with a hint of cherry coriander finish. Pretty good and easy drinker.

Can from VE. Nose very sweet, clove and cherry. Pour hazy bright orange with just a hint of pink, head soapy beige with, again, the faintest hint of pink. Taste extremely sweet, essentially cloying save for the subtle bread and miniature drying at finish. Cheery cherry predominates, but a little clove and spice sneak through, strong wheat undercurrents to boot. The fruit turns into slick orange marmalade for stretches, and that too is just too much. Medium body with decent structure, clean and moderately refreshing, and not a bad flavor, but I can’t take more than a few ounces on account of you-know-what. [2016.09.18: 2.7]

Little head and lacing. Beautiful hazy pink color gradient across pint glass. Musty wheat aroma and upfront taste. Fruity finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Fecal rubber and berry nose. Cloudy orange, medium head, good retention and lacing. Cherry, lemon. Cardboard finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Enjoyable, but more as an American fruit beer than any kind of Belgian style beer.
