Canned. Nice and light. The cherry flavor is less present than I hoped but it is still very refreshing.

355ml can. Pours a light pinkish hue, flavor is oberon with cherries, wheatish, light tartness, not enough cherry for me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours from the can to a peachy orange pink color with a frothy head. Big wheaty nose with some back spices and bubblegum. Candy flavors upfront that go into a slightly medicinal cherry flavor. Wheat backbone with a decent fruit finish. Good and drinkable.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce can into signature pint glass, canned on 6/8/2016. Pours hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tart cherry, lemon, orange, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, cherry juice, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart cherry, lemon, orange, pear, apple, pepper, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness and fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart cherry, lemon, orange, pear, apple, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, cherry juice, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from tart/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and lightly acidic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected for 5%. Overall this is a great fruited witbier style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, cherry juice, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Tastes like Winter White with cherry juice added, and is just as delicious as the base beer overall. A very enjoyable offering.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft to taster at the Eccentric Cafe. Looks solid; a very hazy peachy orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast and related esters alongside notes of wheat and a bit of cherry. Tastes like it smells with more of a sweet cherry presence. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and finishes with a bit of tartness. Not bad, but unmemorable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From notes. First reviewed 7/14/2009. Served on tap at the Eccentric Cafe.
Poolside pours a golden peach color with a very light head and not much carbonation. Virtually no lacing, and it even almost seemed flat when it was coming out of the tap.
Cherry malted wheat is the straightforward aroma I sense, although it is a faint smell.
With the first sip, the tart, up front cherry taste is at its most extreme. With each subsequent sip, the taste becomes more mellow and smoother. While the malt dominates, the cherry tartness provides a nice complement for the light hop flavor.
The feel is soft and quite easy on the tongue. Light carbonation means it is not crisp, but this suits the beer well.
This is definitely beer meant for sipping outside on a summer day if you are in the right mood.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A pink, yeasty, slightly sour cherry wheat beer with outstanding complexity. Iíve grown weary of Oberon the past few years, but Poolside is a game changer. This is a tour de force in summer wheats and I hope Bells makes this more available.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Bellís last weekend.
Pours a very, very cloudy yellow color with a pinkish tint. There is a spot or two of lacing as it goes down, but thatís about it. The nose brings some light cherry and a bit of wheat. The flavor has a mild cherry tartness and plenty of wheat and grain. The feel is slightly chalky with a light to medium body and low carbonation. Decent enough, but too thick for my taste.
