COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pooltime Ale is a refreshing Belgian-inspired Wheat Ale with light clove notes. The truly distinguishing feature is the use of 100% Montmorency tart cherries grown in the Traverse City region of Michigan. These cherries add a subtle tartness and bright counterpoint to the other flavors, enhancing Pooltime’s fruity character and making it the perfect beer for all summer activities.

355ml can. Pours a light pinkish hue, flavor is oberon with cherries, wheatish, light tartness, not enough cherry for me.

3.3
Dogbrick (13411) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2010
On draught at Gallo’s Tap Room. The beer is a murky reddish-orange color with a thin white head that diminishes slowly. Thin rings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, cherries and yeast. Light, clean body with a tart cherry character and flavors of wheat and mild yeast. The finish is fruity with a banana and cherry aftertaste. A somewhat run-of-the mill beer overall.

hopdog (12869) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2016
On tap at Capone’s. Poured a cloudy orangish color with a small sized head. Cherries on the subtle side. Lighter ... some grains / wheat, with lighter spice.

Not excited for a cherry wheat, per se, but Bells has earned enough cred to give it a shot. Quite nice for what it is - a tart and fruity summer refresher than blends yeast aroma and flavor with tart and lightly sweet cherry quite well.
