A: The beer pours a bright reddish color with a white head that maybe has a hint of pink.
S: Smells like raspberries. Apart from those, there is a lot of grass and a light grain scent, perhaps some corn, too. A decent amount of wet straw, in there as well.
T: The taste is a bit like raspberry seltzer water. Very highly carbonated with a decent amount of sweet raspberry. It is a touch watery and like the aroma, is heavy on the grain, straw, and grass.
M: Somewhat light in body with a very high level of carbonation.
O: Disappointing. The fruit flavor is pretty decent, but the base beer is just not good and detracts from the overall experience. Tmoney99 (14857) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Draft sample at IBGWF 2013. Poured a clear reddish color with an average off-white fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart berry and yeast aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy tart berry flavor with a medium to heavy berry tart finish of moderate to long duration. Interesting beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 15, 2002
Cloudy red body. The aroma is clean raspberry. Tastewise, the front half is great raspberry, but it gets lost in the back half, leaving you with only half a beer. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Bottle shared at the 17th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering, 1/28/12. Bottle 83 of 495, batch K10357. Pours a clear pink color with a thin tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of tart berries, earthy notes and dark caramel malts. The taste is earth, tart berries, caramel and stone fruits. Medium bodied. Nice beer. crossovert (13726) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 21, 2011
It is hazy pink and is very watery and slightly sour. It was super popular the day I was at Bell’s but I have had better Raspberry ales.

Sample at Fourth Street Bar & Grill during the Bells Tap Takeover on 10/12/2011: Slightly cloudy red color with a minimal white head. Spotty lacing on the glass. Grainy malt and raspberry in the nose. Medium body with a mildly tart raspberry character and some sweet grainy malt behind it. The finish is short and fruity. Draft @ AZ Wine during RBWG. Pours a reddish amber color with a pink head. The aroma is sweeter raspberry with a hint of toast. The flavor is less sweet than the nose, but still has decent raspberry flavor and toasted bread. Finish is a bit soft. douglas88 (9571) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 7, 2011
On tap at AZ Wine RBWG. Pours a bright red color with a small white head. A sweet berry nose, a fizzy light palate. The flavor is a light easygoing Raspberry, toasted malts. Decent.
