Cloudy deep red with a thin white head. Nose has lots of the raspberry with a jammy character. The taste is more dry than expected with a fruity iron finish. Lots of jam. There is some light yeast. Interesting anyway. rumproasts (5342) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Tap. Red with minimal head. Lightly tart with mild raspberry. Light on flavor but raspberry is often overdone. More on the subtle side. DiarmaidBHK (4797) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Sampler at brewery. Pours red with a white head. Definitely raspberry notes on the nose. Has a bit of the tartness you would expect with this fruit. Itís flavorful but it could be bolder. Still solid though. nickd717 (4644) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 12, 2009
GABF 2009. Clear dark red color with a small, fading pinkish head. Aroma is lots of raspberries, not particularly sweet. Flavor is raspberries, a little more sour than sweet, without much else really to it. Fairly dry on the palate with medium-light body and medium-high carbonation. Decent but I expect more from Bells. Tap at Bells City TAP House event PBW10. Pours a hazy pinkish with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma and flavor of the raspberry, some tart wheat notes. Decent fruit beer.

on tap @ Party Town (Friday Night Flights) --- Cloudy raspberry amber color, white head that drops to a thin rim, a few lace dots. Taste is malt with a light dose of slightly sour raspberry. Hardly any carbonation, very little change through a short finish. I expected better. CanIHave4Beers (4184) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - JUL 19, 2011
Pours a pretty deep red color with a small but well retained head. The aroma has a lot of nice earthy and sweet raspberry notes and some very mild yeastiness. The flavor is nicely tart with loads of fresh raspberry flavor and a light sourness and only a mild sweetness. As it warms it gets grainy and yeasty and flavors just sort of muddle up a bit making it less exciting as say the first half of the pint.
A pretty nice Raspberry beer, loads more interesting than the typical "Raspberry Wheat" but something entirely different than say Raspberry Tart.

Sampled at the Richmond 17th Gathering.Clear pinkish pour with ring of white head. Good earthy tartness is balanced by the raspberry sweetness. Overall, a very nice clean light beer that showcases raspberries. Not overly tart, acidic, or sour. Just raspberry. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Medium pinkish amber with little head at the Richond Gathering. Light raspberry aroma. Flavor is a match. Refreshing, dry, well done. Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 14, 2011
