Fresh rapsberry aroma. Pink-orange in color. Fresh raspberry flavor with a sourish (but not too much) finish, and not syrupy! OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - DEC 4, 2013
Snifter at triangle wine. Ok aroma. Sweet. Fruity raspberry. Tad sour. Hazed red color. No head or lace. Tart flavor. Lighter body thin smooth mouthfeel tart finish. Ok. Nice in the fruit beer area. But not wowing me. Just ok. 1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2007
Tap at Maduro pre-GTMW party. The beer pours to a lightly hazy medium red body with a small white head that fully dissipates. The aroma is leafy hops, cherry and raspberry, and not much else. The flavor is leafy hops, raspberries and cherries, with a subtle vanilla. The beer has a nice light sweetness and subtle sourness. Light body that finishes clean. Watery at little bit, with a fizzy carbonation. Balanced mouthfeel. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - NOV 20, 2005
On tap at Bells (Eccentric Cafe). Red body, thin off-white head. Light aroma of raspberry syrup, the subtlety likely due to the cold temperature this was served at. Raspberry syrup flavor, sweet but not overtly so, and a bit tart, with light bready malts and earthy hops becoming especially apparent in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied. A better-than-average Raspberry Ale though nothing unique.

Draft @ Maduro, GTMW pre-party. Slight haze, ruby body with pink head. The aroma is loaded with fresh, ripe raspberries. The flavor is mildly sweet and one-dimensionaly raspberries. Thin, slightly watery texture with a bit of seedy bitterness. DrnkMcDermott (3130) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2009 Draft, at the Eccentric. Don’t know why I kept trying all the raspberry beers as I pubcrawl across Michigan, but here’s another. Opaque pink color looks like one of those candles in a wine glass. A more tart finish than other Raspberry beers, and a little less of a “wine cooler” taste... but not much less. Some malt works its way through, as well. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - AUG 4, 2011
On tap @ AZ Wine during 2011 RBWG - Pours a red color with a small pink head. Aroma and flavor is full of raspberries. Not too sweet. Medium bodied, dry finish. A pretty nice beer. cards04 (2857) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 21, 2013
A nice fruit beer. Great pinkish red color with pink head. Great raspberry jam aromas. tart raspberry flavors. A touch watery... But still good. MrBunn (2844) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2008
On tap at Eccentric Cafe. Pour reveals a reddish haze with a bit of a white head. Aromas are straight raspberry (a bit on the sour side) with little else to offer. Still, it’s not like an artificial raspberry smell, so things are off to a good (but kind of foo-foo) start. Flavor is more raspberry with a blast of tartness and little other flavoring. This is simple raspberry, but good enough.
