Appearance: Pours a cloudy red.
Aroma: Aroma is of pure raspberry..
Taste: Not as strong as aroma, some raspberry, a little bit tart..
Palate:Light champagney body with some fizz..
Summary: I wish the taste matched up to the aroma. Not a bad beer but not was the nose made me expect.
Bottle #437/495 batch K10357:   Heavy pinkish hue, a little dirty and hazy, moderate fizzy head, lively carbonation, little lacing.   Raspberry aroma, faint, not artificial yet not terribly strong.   Smells real, just not "in your face" like New Glarus.   A bit more flavor than aroma, which is nice.   Feels like a pale wheat background with the aformentioned Raspberries.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, a little spritzy.   Clean finish, soft Raspberries linger.   Not real bright, but not sour or tart.   Perhaps a little dry is all I would say.   Enjoyable, and very much reminds me of one of my summer favs as a youngster, Thomas Kemper Weizenberry. Batch K10357, Bottle 187 ; Pour is murky gold with pink highlights ; the bottle popped, revealing a bit of over carbonation here. The white head with slight pink highlighting is average initial, retains on the modest side, and there is some light lacing present. The nose is raspberry jam, seeds, caramel malts really ; I thought this one came across as a really nice drinker, and one of the better fruit beers I had, in spite of the fact that the base beer is on the boring side. Raspberry comes through in a natural , non artificial way here, and this brew drinks clean and bright, with more raspberry jam, mild tart, medium sweet, caramel, bread, and light bitter - I enjoyed it. cards04 (2862) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 21, 2013
A nice fruit beer. Great pinkish red color with pink head. Great raspberry jam aromas. tart raspberry flavors. A touch watery... But still good. earthgirl99 (25) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 23, 2002
Very pretty appearance. Aroma is almost dance-recital cutesy. This is definitely a fruity beer. It's not as artificial a taste and aroma as the lotion from those bath stores at the mall, but I'd still rather have my organic raspberries NEXT TO my beer than in it. I guess it's not bad as fruit beers go.

2003 Draft at Eccentric Cafe. Light cloudy pink with a nice pinkish white head. Has a very tart raspberry aroma with lots of yeast. Opens up with a medium-dry raspberry flavor (surprise!) and some dry yeast flavors work their way in as well. Has a hint of vanilla on the palate and a slight touch of very dry cream-like malt flavoring, though it is only a glimpse. Wow, if they only would have added more of this malt flavor, this beer would be a champion. Stays very tart and ends dry and mildly sour. I was very pleased to find this beer not sickeningly sweet as I find many other fruit beers to be. Well made beer. Medium-light body is not terribly impressive, but flavor is real enough. Obviously lacking in malt. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - AUG 25, 2006
Draft @ Maduro, GTMW pre-party. Slight haze, ruby body with pink head. The aroma is loaded with fresh, ripe raspberries. The flavor is mildly sweet and one-dimensionaly raspberries. Thin, slightly watery texture with a bit of seedy bitterness. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2007
On tap at Maduro – GTMW pre-party. Poured a slightly hazy raspberry pink with not much sticking around for head. Aroma was of sweet, fresh raspberries all over the nose.. quite enjoyable with no artificial sweeteners noted.. not much else in there, but that was OK. Flavor picked up sweet and tart fresh raspberries from the core outward.. lightly bitter and sour raspberry seed impression surrounded the tongue beautifully, along with a touch of wheaty sours.. simple again, but tasty. Light-bodied and a touch grainy with nice balance.. very good, highly drinkable, refreshing summer brew. nickd717 (4835) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 12, 2009
GABF 2009. Clear dark red color with a small, fading pinkish head. Aroma is lots of raspberries, not particularly sweet. Flavor is raspberries, a little more sour than sweet, without much else really to it. Fairly dry on the palate with medium-light body and medium-high carbonation. Decent but I expect more from Bells. rumproasts (5575) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Tap. Red with minimal head. Lightly tart with mild raspberry. Light on flavor but raspberry is often overdone. More on the subtle side.
