ryan (3185) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - AUG 25, 2006
Draft @ Maduro, GTMW pre-party. Slight haze, ruby body with pink head. The aroma is loaded with fresh, ripe raspberries. The flavor is mildly sweet and one-dimensionaly raspberries. Thin, slightly watery texture with a bit of seedy bitterness.

GABF 2009. Clear dark red color with a small, fading pinkish head. Aroma is lots of raspberries, not particularly sweet. Flavor is raspberries, a little more sour than sweet, without much else really to it. Fairly dry on the palate with medium-light body and medium-high carbonation. Decent but I expect more from Bells.

Draft @ AZ Wine during RBWG. Pours a reddish amber color with a pink head. The aroma is sweeter raspberry with a hint of toast. The flavor is less sweet than the nose, but still has decent raspberry flavor and toasted bread. Finish is a bit soft.

Pours a pretty deep red color with a small but well retained head. The aroma has a lot of nice earthy and sweet raspberry notes and some very mild yeastiness. The flavor is nicely tart with loads of fresh raspberry flavor and a light sourness and only a mild sweetness. As it warms it gets grainy and yeasty and flavors just sort of muddle up a bit making it less exciting as say the first half of the pint. A pretty nice Raspberry beer, loads more interesting than the typical "Raspberry Wheat" but something entirely different than say Raspberry Tart.

Tap. Red with minimal head. Lightly tart with mild raspberry. Light on flavor but raspberry is often overdone. More on the subtle side.

On tap at Bells (Eccentric Cafe). Red body, thin off-white head. Light aroma of raspberry syrup, the subtlety likely due to the cold temperature this was served at. Raspberry syrup flavor, sweet but not overtly so, and a bit tart, with light bready malts and earthy hops becoming especially apparent in the aftertaste. Medium-bodied. A better-than-average Raspberry Ale though nothing unique.

BigBeer45 (1565) - Michigan, USA - APR 17, 2009
Draft at Eccentric Cafe 10-11-08, listed as 5% alc. on the board, pours a very clear bright dark red and ruby, gave a white head that diminished quickly, raspberry aroma without any sweetness and not much else on the nose, flavor is straight raspberry that is pretty tart on the tongue, I could not taste any malt, this is a dominant raspberry beer with very little sweetness, has a medium mouth feel and not much carbonation, I was not really impressed with this drink, it is not bad and I could not find any off fragrance or taste but is was boring towards the end of the glass.

fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 28, 2011
sampled during the 2011 RBWG weekend on tap at AZWine pours pinkish red with a thin white head. This is fruity and effervescent without being overly sweet. Finishes dry with thin lingering berry notes.

Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 14, 2011
tap at RBWG-deep red with a fizzy pink head. looks really fru-fru if you ask me however it something out of the ordinary in terms of appearance. dry raspberry nose some peppers. really dry faint raspberry sprtizy flavors-spritizy palate which is to be expected for this-a bit lf lactic sweetness. a decent quafer but nothing i would really seek out. novel and cool i got to try it!

3.2
DiarmaidBHK (5919) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2014
Sampler at brewery. Pours red with a white head. Definitely raspberry notes on the nose. Has a bit of the tartness you would expect with this fruit. It’s flavorful but it could be bolder. Still solid though.
