Cloudy red body. The aroma is clean raspberry. Tastewise, the front half is great raspberry, but it gets lost in the back half, leaving you with only half a beer. SuIIy (1984) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - DEC 10, 2005
2005 Eccentric Day. Pours a bright red juicy color with a light off white head. Nose is raspberry juice. taste is fizzy, raspberry juice like, sugary. milewide (2332) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 9, 2007
On tap. I think that this was a wheat beer ? Light aroma and flavor. Fruit is its major taste . heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Cloudy deep red with a thin white head. Nose has lots of the raspberry with a jammy character. The taste is more dry than expected with a fruity iron finish. Lots of jam. There is some light yeast. Interesting anyway. svandyke (259) - USA - JUL 25, 2011
750 ml bottle. Pours a brilliant, clear red color, promising a lot of raspberry taste. It has a nice complimentary white ring of head. Aroma is definatly of raspberry, with a disconcerting sour note. A sweeter taste is expected (similar to a lambic) but there is little of it. Some sweetness would have brought out the raspberry.

Bottle 148 of 495 thanks to womencantsail. Pours with a fluffy off-white head with a lightly hazed red body. Aroma of raspberry, sticky, sweet, a bit of wheat, seltzer. Flavors are extremely watery. Seltzer, wheat, raspberry and little else. Pretty clean too, no esters. A bit of a malic bite. Lively bubbles, dryish. A bit bland. Really seems like little more than raspberry and seltzer. Drinkable though. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Smelled and looked great...didn’t have much taste. Body was very thin and overcarbonated. Would be good at brunch, I guess. Strong smelling seltzer with little flavor. b3shine (9281) - Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Draft to taster at the Eccentric Cafe. Looks good for the style; a transparent reddish-orange with white lacing. Smells of raspberries and wheat. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Alright. MilkmanDan (1942) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2002
Should largely just say "what argo0 said". Nice raspberry up front, quite obviously uses fresh raspberries to make it. Has the nice, tart bitterness, but then nothing, no malts, no chewiness, just empty flavor. If this had some malts to lengthen the finish, it'd be quite good, but it disappears too fast. hennes (934) - Fountain, Michigan, USA - DEC 15, 2002
Damn Michael, I did see the Texan alien pair - what the heck were you wearing? I grant you the run of your imagination on this brew - there are some citrus and ester stirrings in the deep swirls, but they are subdued by the too razbry.
