Pours hazy golden orange with a one finger soapy white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine resin, spicy rye, bready malts, grassy hops, and some light sweet malts. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden orange color with a half finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Sporadic streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Spicy, faint floral hop aroma with some earthy resin and sweet citrus countered by pale malt and bready yeast. Somewhat bland really with not much of a rye presence. Just some spicy, grassy hops followed by bread, biscuit and subtle light fruit notes.
Full bodied and much more interesting than expected. The nose is pretty boring but it’s actually complex, well balanced and flavorful. Crisp spicy hop bite up front gives off some dry bitterness with resinous oils, grass and pine needle flavor. Some peppery rye, but like the nose, it’s not a dominant flavor. Nicely balanced by yeast, light fruit notes and a pale malt backbone. Hints of bread, biscuit and cracker round things out in the dry finish. Not a great beer but it’s refreshing and easy to drink with nice hop flavor.

Clear, bubbly hay-colored liquid has a medium-sized white head that steadily recedes to cover.
Before noticing any malt or hops in the nose, I’m greeted by fresh house yeast character that takes me all the way back to some of the first craft beers I ever had: Third Coast beer and Bells beer. Difficult to describe other than saying Bells house yeast character. But it’s delightful and light citrus and bits of grain are thrown in to the mix, but the hops are pretty well restrained, adding fruitiness and tangerine/lemon notes without any harsh grapefruit/pine. No alcohol or flaws.
Crisp, tightly carbonated mouthfeel carries on a wonderfully attenuated malt texture that gains some chewiness from the rye and adds light pepper notes, tangerine, nectarine and meyer lemon. Finishes dry and crisp, with no alcohol or flaw. Love the concept and the execution here. Really, really enjoyable and incredibly drinkable.

Bottles over the last few years. Yellow color, white head, smell is pretty hoppy; some rye noted. Taste is similar, pleasantly bitter, easy to drink... Tastes good on the warming spring days. I usually get several 12 packs of this through the course of the spring.
