Dark brown pour with a minimal head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee. Tastes like a milk stout, but it is completely dairy-free; cocoa and espresso and roasted malts. As advertised it has a smooth, creamy texture. Not terribly impressed with this one. Gachupines (1252) - USA - JAN 30, 2016
Black with a thin tan head. Aroma is cocoa and a little roast coffee. Flavor is bitter coffee with a mildly sweet cocoa finish. Very nice. User134089 (1644) - - JAN 22, 2016

Really looking forward to this one. I like Bells and I like stouts. I think their six-packs are a bit overpriced out here, but I like the idea of just getting a chance to try it. Prediction is between a 3.90 and 4.00 range.
Poured a black color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy, tan head. Below average, spotty, wet lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled a pleasant whiff of chocolate, cocoa, chocolate malt, roasty malts, some coffee malts, Whoppers candy and chocolate milk. Very nice. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste followed the nose nicely, although not quite as good. Got fresh chocolate brownies, sugary chocolate malt, smoky fire, char wood, bitter roasted coffee malts, dark chocolate, chocolate milk shake, milky cream and Cinnabon. (Taste - 4.00)
Full body. Creamy-to-chewy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Really liked this beer, especially for the style. Definitely some artificial stuff in there, but it works. Special Double Cream Stout is perfect for the name. (Overall - 4.00)

12 oz bottle. Dark brown with ruby highlights. Thick tan head, sticky lace.tightslice (1307) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Aroma is coffee, lactose, chocolate.
Flavor is bitter roast coffee, followed by sweet milk sugar.
Bottle from K&L in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee in there. Taste is smooth, chocolately with mild vanilla creaminess. Has a milk stout quality that I don’t love. Tstamba (775) - Maryland, USA - DEC 30, 2015
Draft at Frisco ... Black with thin white head. Strong roasted coffee and chocolate presence on the nose and palate... Smooth toffee and cream finish... Yum!
