Pours very dark brown with a bubbly tan head that fades rather quickly. Aroma is very chocolately and reminds of hershey syrup with some roastiness as well. Flavor is dark chocolate with roasted malts and coffee and some lactose. Very smooth mouthfeel but slightly thinner than expected. Very easy to drink.

Bottle picked up in Charlottesville, VA. Pours dark black with a nice big beige head. super creamy, but super flavorful too, especially as it warms. Great combination of complexity and quaffability. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle, poured black with a thin off-white head. Aroma of coffee, sweet malt, and dark chocolate. Not as strong smelling as many stouts.Well balanced and very drinkable

Pours A creamy dark brown/black in my pint glass leaving a thin tan head. Aroma is Sweet chocolate with hints of coffee, and roasted grain. Flavor is much the same. Very rich, and smooth. I could drink this all night. Excellent!

Wow, one great stout after another. Today I went to the store and noticed all bells november stouts in singles! I snagged a variety sixpack of them....... As for the rate-- This was a very sweet stout. Not too creamy though..

hippie4beer (162) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2005
Bottle. Pours a deep black with a thin brown head. Aroma is faint with chocolate, ice cream, and a hint of espresso. Flavor is balanced well with sweet malts, cream, and chocolate. Well carbonate, maybe too much. Finishes very creamy and smooth.
