Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Huge thanks to whomever brought this. clear ruby red amber coloured pour with a halo of cream head. Aroma is dark choc, light soy sauce, powdered choc, nutty. Nice milky, nutty, nutella, praline. Palate is low carbonation, milky, a bit dull. Lingering dark choc and light roast. slowrunner77 (12037) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 16, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2014 yet another stand-out stout from bells. pours dark brown, almost black - with an everlasting tight tan head. aroma of malted chocolate and coffee. feel is super smooth and creamy. lactic quality in addition to the chocolate coffee flavor gives it an ever so slight sour finish, which is the only thing preventing this very good brew from being a world beater. still one of the best cream stouts out there. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2005
Bottled: Red/brown coloured. Off white medium sized dense head. Roast, berries, coffee and hops in the aroma. Flavour is roasted and sweet. Loads of coffee and chocolate notes. Ends with a balanced bitterness on the palate. Good one. Thanks Santa BBB63.

Bottle at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured black with a brown head. Aroma had a sweet creamy chocolate note as well as a roasted malt note. The roasted malts were more present in the flavor with the creamy chocolate flavor relegated to a supporting note. High point was smoothness of the beer, described by one word... Amazing! j12601 (11571) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 10, 2010

Pitch black pour with a small tan head.
Roasted malt, dark chocolate, mild hops and some cookie sweetness in the aroma. The flavour is roasted malt, mild chocolate, some sweetness and mild hops. Quite nice. A bit thin.
Bottle. Creamy dark chocolate malt aroma. Black-brown color with small head. Creamy dark chocolate malt flavor. Lighter mouthfeel than with some stouts. Extremely easy drinking - another great Bell’s beer. hopscotch (11078) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2009 Bottle... This beer rocks!... The nose is of milk chocolate, weak coffee and berries in cream. The color is black for the most part. Deep, dark copper when held up to a halogen bulb. Small, well-tanned head with a copper tint. Fully diminishing. The flavor is of cocoa powder and buttermilk up front. Even more intense tartness on the backside. Liquid joy. Liquid Fun. Full-bodied with lively carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Long, tangy, pungent finish with a small hint of prairie grass at the wee end. World class sweet stout.
