Tap @ HopCat for RBSG’10 - dark pour with tan head. vineou, roasty chocolate goodness. Not finding the body especially creamy, however. Hops stick to the tongue. Molasses with plenty of carbonic tartness. Mixed feelings about this one. gormanb (174) - Bowling Green, Ohio, USA - OCT 13, 2010

Chocolate and charcoal aroma. Black, with a medium tan head, good lace. Charcoal flavor, dry, ashy and smoky. Finishes with bitter chocolate. Nice texture and medium body, flavorful. Dry for the style, but not overly so. crackedmachine (481) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2010

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2011 Pours an imperial stout black. Taste is very light roasted campfire wood and slight acid coffee, with a nice body to it. Good stuff. Like a better Guinness. PapaSkeetSkeet (1010) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 21, 2011
Pours black with tan head. Flavor is sweet, but less so than other sweet stouts, and balanced with a graininess. Smells of chocolate and slight soy sauce, but soy is absent in the flavor. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2011
A-deep black color with a thick two fingers of coffee colored head that lingers for some time and leaves a nice lacing on the glass
S-light nose that consists of roasted malt, hint of chocolate cake batter, and some light citrus sweetness
T-a roasted malt hits first followed by some bitter sweet chocolate, cake batter, touches of coffee, dark fruits, some raisin and prune that gives it a sweetness at the finish
M-very smooth and creamy as the name would indicate, medium body with a fair bit of carbonation.
D-this is a solid tasting beer with a great mouthfeel and robust creamy flavors. I could drink this beer quite frequently Edward104 (41) - Herrin, Illinois, USA - APR 8, 2011
