On tap at Eccentric Cafe. Poured clear, bright golden with a bright, electric cap of white head. The aroma picked up soft pale and honeyed malts with ginger, coriander, and cardamom spicage accenting.. quite intriguing. Ginger and cardamom took over in the flavor department, and they left a spicy trail through the finish.. also picked up some black pepper.. bread and honey malts supported, but played little role beyond that. Lighter-bodied with adequate carbonation on the palate and tasty spicage.. this was a very easy drinker, and a tasty one at that! coyotehunter (698) - , Michigan, USA - FEB 21, 2009
On tap 2/17/09 at the Eccentric Cafe. On the board "smooth and mild." Not much in the way of an aroma. Smells a bit like mild soap. Color is amber with a good lacing head. Notes of Coriander, nutmeg, light peppery hops. Has a slightly bitter finish. Seems to be a nice change to the regular Pale Ale, which, as it turns out, I have yet to rate. sad.
