Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear ruby copper with small off white head that diminishes. The aroma is strong berry jam, funk, wood. Medium body, jammy, berry, oak, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.

Pour on tap at Crunchyís hazy pinkish red pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big raspberry jam, funky fruit, slight lemon, oaky notes, touch of earth. Taste was a mix of lemon, oak, lots of raspberry, berry into some vanilla, bread, finishing tart, slightly oaky. Very nice.

Tap at The Oak. I know Iíve had this before but didnít rate for some reason. Aroma is raspberry purťe, dank basement funk and mild lemon. Tastes just awesome. Like a raspberry popiscle but the moderate sourness and tart balance it out perfectly. Moderately acidic. I could drink this all day but would probably get heartburn. I love this. With just a little more funk this could be a top ten beer for me.

Pours a nice brownish-red color with a short white head and a spot or two of lacing. Aroma has an earthy raspberry aroma along with a nice underlying malt. Flavor has a moderate tartness with a light maltiness, earthy, fresh picked raspberry taste and light tannic quality. Medium bodied with medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wild gamy aroma plus raspberry. Color is a dark, somewhat cloudy reddish brown. Head is fairly large, though not long lasting, off-white but a bit reddish head. Taste is very dry and quite tart. Palate is dry and acidic; fairly lively carbonation and a very long, dry acidic finish. An excellent example of the style but just not a style I particularly like - too dry and acidic for my taste. The gamy aroma of the wild yeast is interesting.

On tap at Sabatiniís Bottleshop in Exeter, PA. It pours a reddish amber color with a pinkish off white head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberry, both sweet and tart. Very fresh and authentic. Not too funky. The flavor is the same. Strong raspberry character dominates with some nice light toasted malt underneath. Very sour and clean. It has a substantial body, but not sweet. Awesome fruit character. Loved this one.

Excellently balanced flavors - sour, fruit, malt all present in enjoyable amounts. Beautiful color, too. The smell is pleasant, just fruity enough with a great tang. This beer gives the best sours a run for their money.
