Bottle at Madmitch 20k tasting. Hazy amber. Lasting white head. Hoppy aroma. Like a hoppy barley wine aroma. Rather a good sweet beer. Good hop. Good enough. koleminer20 (3498) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 31, 2015
12 oz bottle shared with Jason and Brian. The pour is a brighter reddish brown with a nice collar of head and no lace. The aroma surprisingly hoppy. There is a good malt and a light sweetness that is well received. There is a decent pine and a good bitterness on the back. The flavor is good as well. There is a strong maltiness. Nice bitter hops and a lingering piney resin. The mouth feel is thicker and well carbonated with a good lingering malty finish. It's a legit brew here. Obviously the freshest of the group
