4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bought single bottle and was not sure what kind of beer I bought. It poured clear brownish copper color and had nice thick off white head. I then found out that it was a American strong ale. Taste is pretty damn good. Has very nice malt and hop balance and alcohol taste is very mild. Overall an excellent beer and will buy again soon!!
Copper color with just a hint of haze. Taller, lasting, smooth whipped cream looking, beige head. Big malt and big hops aromas. Part of me want to say barleywine and the other American strong. The citrus beats out the dark berries, so American strong wins.
Sweet fruity start. Caramel and herbal hops mingle in. A bit sharp on the tongue. Menthol in the finish. I liked this more when I didn’t think about it. Sometime I think things get over analyzed and we forget to just enjoy. Congrats Bell’s on 25 years. Hope to be around for the next 25! 7/10

Bottle share at Kenny’s 20K, thanks to Ken. As ’Bells 25th Anniversary’, I’ve written down 9.8%. Hazy orange, lightly sparkling, small ring of tan head, dotted lacing. Aroma is toffee, floral - rose in particular. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste follows the nose - toffee with a dry, floral, chalky, papery dimension. Not bad overall.

Bottle thanks to Ken at his 20K tasting. It pours clear deep amber with a thick off-white head. The taste is bitter, earthy, leather, toffee, dried fruits, fruit cake and some warming alcohol through the finish. Medium + body and fine carbonation.
