India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottle. Pours a lush copper with a spectacular rocky white head that just won’t quit, great lacing. Smell is floral, grapefruit, lemon, pine. Taste is more of the same, floral, grapefruit, lemon, pine. Super crisp, smooth, medium body. Measuring stick IPA!

UPDATED: NOV 2, 2008 This is my favorite IPA. It’s a beautiful copper-orange color and smells like a floral garden of hoppy goodness. Taste is no disappointment either: bitter with lots of hops and citrus, with a superior after-taste that is pleasant and crisp. Incredibly well-crafted session IPA.

Pours a hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is of bitter citruis hops. Some nice malts backed up by a bitter hoppy finish. A balanced well hopped IPA.

12oz bottle thanks to Jaye. Pours light golden colour with lots of off white foam, and it sticks around for a while. Aroma of citrus hops and a little malt. Taste is very smooth, with proper amount of IPA hop bitterness. Flavour dies away rather abruptly, leaving a thirst for me. A nice IPA.

The aroma hits you in the face the moment you open the bottle, very hoppy, citrus, lemon, pine and flowers. Poured a murky blonde with a thick, foamy, lacing white head. Citrus flavors, orange and lemon, very fresh flavor. Bitter, astringent finish and slightly soapy and thick on the tongue and mouth. Great smell, great hop taste. This is a beer for the hop lovers.

Grand IPA to say the least. The hazy orange color and hoppy aroma lets you know that Mr. Hop is here and he ready to do some beatin’! Funny how a beer can be both bitter and sweet at the same time. This one pulls it off. Not as strong as would be expected, but I would classify this as a good "sippin’ beer"

Medium orange/amber color - soft creamy head. Aroma is sweetly citrus, with notes of bubblegum and other fruits. Fabuolusly hoppy flavor, rich and lively. Finish is sweet and clean without being cloying. Truly a world-class IPA.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Purchased at Chevy Chase Wine and Liquor in Washington DC. Pours straw colored with a large white head. The hop aroma is omniprescent I could smell it immediatley after the pour. The taste is hoppy and bitter with a lingering bitter edge. Its refreshing but sharp, not as drinkable as other IPAs, but definetly good.
