(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of GoBlue. Fairly light amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fresh, citrusy aroma with some pine needles. Medium body with some caramel and a distinct, perfumy aroma hoppiness. Solid bitterness in the finish. A nice IPA. 191206 Beerhunter111 (22409) - P´Castle, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2015
12 fl oz bottle. Pours light hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of resinous hops, peach, sweet malt. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, peach, average IPA. Leighton (22297) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2010
Bottle. Outstanding IPA. Rich, dark-amber pour with a firm, off-white head. Aroma of pine and floral hops. Flavor has huge bitterness and yet still strikes the drinker as well-balanced, what with the hearty doses of malts. Mildly resiny mouthfeel and a crisp, sticky, lip-smacking finish. Can courtesy of Mr. Orla. Hazy ornage with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 240516 Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011
12/11/11/12/11/11

Hazy light amber color; big head. Aromatic hop, oranges and ripe apples. Good body, very malty, with strong hopping, some fruitness (oranges). Powerful and long final. Theydon_Bois (20600) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2012 Bottle at Brauhaus Schmitz, Philly - 21/05/12.
Clear golden orange with a decent white head and plenty of lacing.
Sweet malt nose not the hop burst I was expecting although there are piney hop notes at the end.
As per nose caramel malt at the fore, piney hops at the rear.
Medium bodied and carbonation, smooth dry finish.
Original rate 7 - 4 - 8 - 5 - 16 = 4.0.
------- 03/11/12 at Kasey’s Tavern, Chicago on tap.
Clear mid amber with a good off white head. Decent lacing follows.
Nose comprises sweet malts, pine, hops, bitter tropical fruits and some mineral tones.
Tastes of bitter tropical fruits, pine, hops, minerals.
Medium bodied woth fine carbonation leading to a bitter finish, great IPA.
Came out as the same score as the original review with taste +1 and palate -1.

Can. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, fruits, malt and has a nice fruity finish. harrisoni (19310) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2008
Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Gold with thick off white head. This has a huge reputation so perhaps I was more critical with this than if it was just another beer. Really resiny hop. Piney grapefruit. Some sherbert. Then I tasted it. Fairly thin and sharp in mouth. Some decent fruit on end. A pretty decent IPA. Pretty easty to drink, malts are ok. Certainly doesn’t taste of 7.0%. It’s good. Aroma is great. Finish leaves me a bit cold. Tangerine fruit is good and the hops are excellent.
