On tap at richos - Pours a hazy copper with a creamy ivory head. Lots of draping lace down the side of the glass. Smells of cirtusy hops and light fruity malt. Taste is dominated by intense floral and citrusy hops. There’s some light pale malt crispness in there but this brew is all about the hops. And while the beer may be unbalanced the hops flavors are nicely balanced with each other. Bitter and sweet citrus intertwined. Long lingering bitter aftertaste and crisp. Taste leaves you craving more. Good stuff. Bassikpoet (93) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 22, 2010
Tap at Clarks St. Ale House. Pours a light yellow. Crisp smell of hops and grass. Citrusy and fruity with a hint of lemon. Good and bitter. efdejesus (93) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - JUL 13, 2010
An excellent IPA. The pour is a golden amber with a nice white head. The aroma has abundant citrus characteristics. A nice hoppy bitterness but well balanced. The finish as the description states is quite clean and crisp.

Drank out of 12 oz bottle in short pilsner glass. Aroma- my favorite smell! Wonderful hop notes with a bit of lemon. Appearance- golden yellow/orange. Light head and carbonation. Taste- very smooooth and good amount of hops. could drink quite a few of these. Palate- very clean mouthfeel with light hop residue. Overall- one of my favorite IPAs but would have to give Ballast Point sculpin the nod by just a little due to sculpin leaving a more lasting impression, but i could drink this one all night

Smells very good and fruity. Good amount of head. The hops are very tasty with just a tad of bitterness. My favorite overall beer at the moment. BUrunner (92) - Indiana, USA - APR 21, 2004
Well rounded IPA. Poured golden yellow with nice head. Citrus aroma that is evident in the taste. Strong hops add to good mouthfeel and smooth finish. brewrater (92) - uniontown, Ohio, USA - APR 30, 2005
ALEFEST ’05 Great IPA. One of the top five of this style I’ve had. Best beer at the Festival. Soft yet full flavor. Great hops finish! BCMike22 (92) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 16, 2006
Tried this beer as a rec from Bon. Not disappointed in the least! Huge, sharp, hoppy nose that declares it’s IPA tag from the first pour. Very full taste fills up your mouth with every sip. Suprisingly potent, a six pack will get you to where you need to be. hopheaven (91) - St Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 8, 2009
Pours a clear, pale golden with a hefty, effervescent head. Has a big, bright, and fragrant hop aroma of pine and especially citrus. Smells a bit sweet as well. A very pleasant smelling IPA, unlike some which seem determined to overwhelm. Flavor is, of course, bitter and hoppy. Something like mint comes through. The fragrant, flowery aroma does not abate upon tasting. It’s unique and extraordinary but, unfortunately, not for me. Mouthfeel is a bit thick and sticky. Good, worthy of its reputation, but I’d go a different direction with my own IPA.
