India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottle. A great IPA. Orange/copper with a slight haze and thin creamy white head. Aroma is not quite citrus, but more orange/orange peel with herbal hoppiness. Well-balanced flavor tips over into a nicely bitter hop finish. Smooth and slightly crisp mouth feel. Not as good from the bottle as it is on tap, but still one of the best IPAís out there in my book.

kinda cloudy, decent looking head. looked syrupy coming out. apricot and floral aroma. light bodied, smoother than i was expecting. tastes very good, but the after taste kind of kills it, itís almost like drinking a stale fruit roll up. like the smell, apricot and hoppy in taste.

Bottle - Pours pale orangish-yellow with a 2 finger white head. Nice piney nose. Taste is absolutely superb. Such a well balanced brew. If anything stands out itís malt, very malty all the way though. Aftertaste hits hard with hops, then back to malt and lingers very nice. What an IPA, fantastic.

Pours a nice burnt orange with a one finger head that fades after a while but never completely leaves. Nice webbed lacing. Grapefruit and grassy hops in the nose. A very balanced IPA with a clean finish. Very good.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2011 1. Look Ė A hazy light golden IPA with a big frothy white head. 2. Sniff Ė A big hoppy aroma with some pine and citrus notes. 3. Sip Ė This is a light bodied IPA that is loaded with hops. There is a dry long-lasting citrusy bitter finish that makes this a memorable IPA. 4. Another Look Ė There is a nice long lasting head and with consistent lacing throughout. 5. Evaluate Ė Overall, I really enjoy this beer. It is a very easy drinking IPA with a big kick finish. I absolutely love the aroma of this IPA. I would most definitely recommend to IPA lovers.

From tap and also from a bottle. A strong hoppiness, but not overly bitter. The hops pair well with the carbonation to give a physical bite along with the bitter bite. Bitterness does not last long. Good! The one negative (at least with the one I poured to a glass from a bottle) is the aroma; a bit of a metallic smell. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured in a lovely 23 ounce glass that really enhances the whole experience. Smooth and flavorful, I'm not sure if I'll enjoy this first one the most, or the second one I'm about to have

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2013 Pineapple & citrus aroma, smooth & balanced flavor. Nice orange color with a very thin head. Nice crisp mouthfeel & finish.. After taste is a bit more sour than I would like.

The beer is welcomes with a citrussy tangy smell. The beer is smooth throughout. Personally, I would describe beer as jaunty... I donít even know what that means. The color is like the color of your piss after waking up after a long night of drinking. Brings back good memories of fun nights! The beer ends with a bit of astringency - maybe sanitizer?

A: poured a beautiful golden orange with a huge frothy, white head and a ton of lacing S: as is the case with many top beers of this style, the beer gives off an ample floral aroma. I am definitely getting some slight citrus and/or coriander scents as well. Very appealing. T: A gorgeous wallop of hops smacks your tongue right off the bat, then the malts slip in to balance the overall flavor, and everything finishes at once, like a perfectly timed meal. Hop lovers will definitely want to grab this beer. M: Not a ton of body, a tiny bit thin, but overall very nice. D: Now here is where this beer truly shines. The excellent taste + reasonable alcohol content + an amazing level of refreshing qualities makes this an all-day drinker. Wonderful beer that I could and would go back to time & time again. Recommended.
